I blew one away on my 80 acre property here a while back with a .410 Snake Charmer, using Mexican bird shot, at about 40 feet.
Fell out of the sky just as pretty as you please.
No one has claimed it yet...I've got it hanging inside my gate, with a note for whoever might claim it.
Nobody showed up, yet.
No more drones flying over, either.

I wouldn’t use a gun. I might use some of that 30-foot wasp spray stuff, or maybe my power washer.
I figure any thing that is close enough to my house that I can hit it with a spray gun is fair game.
Might be fun to try to shoot drones with the paintball gun as well.
