I heard — from a recent grad — that Cornell has a "drunk dorm," where students who are over-the-moon can be dropped off by friends, or stagger to, and they will be taken care of while they sleep it off and recover.
According to my student friend, Cornell has offered this service for many years, perhaps decades.

I saw a guy kill a 1/2 pint of whiskey one time while having a big chew of tobacco in his mouth, he had only started chewing about a week prior. Made me sick but didnt seem to bother him.
