The Russians did it!
That’s probably what liberal media would be shrieking if the epic Oscars gaffe had not been captured on live TV. After spending two hours needling President Trump, Hollywood got egg on its face bigly after the wrong winner was announced for best picture.
The bizarre turn of events unfolded when Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway were presenting the Academy Award for best picture. Beatty was handed an envelope that was supposed to contain the winner.

dumb arses.... live on tv world wide and they step on it... gotta be Trump’s fault. They need to attend to their pretend world and keep their mouths, minds and fingers out of government and my life.
God is sooo good. He just punked the anti-Trump Hollywood establishment, just like he punked the anti-Trump football fans. Do you see a pattern here?
I think it was racist to ruin the moment for the black movie...See, they really wanted the white movie to win.
I don’t know...I assume they spent the evening bashing President Trump, but today the only news story is the big screw up. I don’t think they would have stomped on their message intentionally.
Actually Beatty knew something was wrong, and looked at Dunnaway as if to ask ‘do you know what’s going on?’...and she just read the movie off the card.
But what I find interesting, from a ‘fake news’ perspective - last night I saw multiple sources that stated Beatty read the wrong name...only to discover this morning that it was really Dunnaway.
One news outlet (or more likely Twitter post) states the wrong person, and the rest follow without even checking.

Isn’t it delicious? The movie they wanted as winner loses to a black movie so they can’t protest( liberals that they are) or they are ‘racists’. They can’t cry out that the fix didn’t work. They can’t blame the geriatric presenters for not realizing the card was wrong because they’re ‘icons’. They can’t even consider that they should have known the card was wrong without admitting that they all expected one thing and got another.So artsy/politically correct race movie beats artsy the- fix-is-in movie? Man there must be a lot of butt hurt in Tinseltown today.
What if they want it both ways? Bash President Trump all night, then take the focus away from that so the rubes who don’t watch will keep buying tickets.
But they know who should be running the country.
Of course. If Awards are fixed they expect elections to be as well. Only this time...SURPRISE!!
