A member of my family has Oscars on... That's why I am watching some parts of the show...If I had my way, I would watch something else...

I’ve already seen comments on the internet that black filmmakers can never get a break in Hollywood even when they win.
Just watch what happens in the next 24 hours.
At least now people will have something to talk about, from what I heard, up to that point the ceremonies were as lame as could be.
When that black matron President of the Academy got up to politick, notice she stumbled ‘music’ for ‘majic’. Maybe the switch happened at opening and she was non-plussed by it enough to mis-read? the teleprompter or she Freuded it.

Here is what happened: Beatty opened an envelope announcing Emma Stone the best actress, which is why he hesitated. Faye Dunaway said something like come on, and “read the winner” La La Land probably not noticing it was the best actress card. Someone gave the wrong card to them...probably the accountants. And no one knows the winner including the head of the Academy. Only the accounting firm knows.
Now it’s even.

True... good point. ABC is now shoving these preachy disgusting shows into the faces of millions of Trump voters (and of course the sad, whiny HRC voters). Americans for the most part are sick to death of this garbage.
I hope and pray both of these new shows have insanely low ratings and are cancelled.
