I refuse to use Snopes anymore. There was an issue about the national debt years ago that Snopes ignored, so I wrote and pointed out the facts as documented in several gov’t publications. Their response was: “We are not interested in those facts.” Say..what??
Yeah, they haven’y been an honest fact checking site. I use them like Wikipedia, a decent place to start to get information on a subject but certainly not something to site as proof or use in the conclusion.
Oh..Planned Parenthood offers prenatal care that’s for sure..a pregnant woman goes into PP and PP says “Hi come back here so we can suck out your baby” that’s for PP prenatal care

I have never used snopes, but I have seen others use it as a fact checker. Is it a left wing site?
They have admitted that they don’t. Don’t tell Snopes.

Sometimes even legitimate news sites need editors. The above statement should read “Sometimes even the fact checkers need to be fact checked.” The other correct way to write it would be, “Sometimes even the fact checkers need fact checking.”
I guess I’m now part of the grammar police. When will the English language stop being butchered by those who should know better? How will those who are still learning ever learn correctly if we plaster them with incorrect usage?
Not everybody has caught on to Snopes yet. They are not 100% objective in what they report.
