Heres a fact for the media to chew on: The deep state is here. As outlined in Foreign Policy, the concept of the deep state is nothing new. But the Trump presidency may serve as the galvanizing force that links some of the formal established Democratic opposition forces, including MoveOn.org, government unions and Black Lives Matter with the informal deep-state cadre of disgruntled liberal bureaucrats, the hostile mainstream media and the usual suspects on the left. Its a troubling phenomenon, with anti-Trump organizations and Democratic-aligned civil servants conspiring to actively work against the incumbent government.
There might not be any central command guiding the deep-state actions, but its not hard for card-carrying Democratic party members, the mainstream media, liberal think tanks, government unions and other anti-Republican liberals of various stripes to naturally form into a collective grain that runs contrary to whatever elected Republicans in Congress and now in the White House want to accomplish. Its just like when a school of fish move in unison, choreographed not because of some planned effort, but because it is in their nature. The bias against President Trump has become frantic, and the Democrats and their allies in the media overreach almost daily in attacking the president and Republicans in general.
Deep state is a sexy new label being used in Washington to describe embedded anonymous bureaucratic bias against President Trump and Republican rule. Specifically, the deep state is leaking documents, making confidential conversations public, pushing rogue social media accounts and otherwise acting in an underhanded manner to discredit the president, his Cabinet and the policy objectives of the Republicans. The use of encrypted chat programs to communicate and the continued leaks to various media outlets are just the start.

Agreed.
If the Swamp was anywhere near as powerful as they thought Hillary would be President... AND the House and Senate would be Democrat... AND the Republicans wouldn't have taken over most of the State Legislatures and Governorships...
Oh, and one more thing Ed Rogers - working against the duly elected government of the United States with the idea of overthrowing it - is called treason.

Actually, there is a very strong alt right movement and many here and else where are allowing the usual suspects in the lying media to tell them what it is about.
I think the unelected left is either dufuss bubs who want to collect a paycheck for doing nothing or evil control freaks that want to legally force people to do what they would never choose to do on their own. Trump should flush both groups down a giant toilet.
So what did the Reese Commission do about it besides write some pussy report?
Didn’t we used to call that “The Establishment” ? I guess with everything one hundred and eighty degrees out of phase, it needs a new name.
The Ctrl-Left is real, and the Deep State is part of it.
In 1966 he wrote Tragedy and Hope. He was given access to the secret archives in the Council on Foreign Relations. The CFR was created in about 1921 but it was an extension of The Inquiry that was created at the same time as the Federal Reserve under Wilson.
In it he said that in 1900 over 50% of America was controlled by 26 families. In 1930 eight families controlled over 75% of Japan.
The Reece Commission on Tax Exempt Foundations in 1953 found that the large foundations (Carnegie, Rockefeller, Ford, Guggenheim, etc) all conspired together to change education, keep the US at war, and control foreign policy by gaining control of the State Department.
This was the beginning of the shadow government we have today.
This stuff didn't start in 1900. It now appears clear to me that it started around 1860. (In the USA) The corruption in the aftermath of the civil war was it's teething period.
BroJoeK, wake up! Wake up!

Yes.
Does alt mean alternate? And if so, what is the regular right?
It ended the same way all congressional committees do. The other side screams and threatens (in this case even cry) and then the whole thing is dropped because it’s going nowhere. You saw it in the Benghazi hearings. The method for grounding these committees to a halt has been well known for a long time.
There was a congressman that wanted to restart the hearings a year later, but he died in a plane crash...
We need these hearings restarted from where they left off. Not from scratch, from where they left off.
I didn’t say it started in 1900 or so, I said in the form we have today. I agree that it began around the civil war period to take hold, but it had an earlier attempt with the first and second national banks.
That sounds reasonable to me. A National Bank strikes me as being inherently crony-capitalist. The Navigation act of 1817 is an example of a law written to benefit large corporate interests. There were signs all throughout the era that certain groups of people were trying to gain control of the economic power of the whole nation, and most of those people worked out of the Empire State.
If you read - scratch that, the book is 1300 pages of tiny print and very boring writing. Listen to Jay Dyer’s chapter by chapter review of it on youtube (use mp3fy.com to download to mp3).
You’ll understand that there is a group of people in the City of London (not part of England, like the Vatican - the banking center) that Quigley calls the Anglo-American Establishment. They set up central banks in every country that is private. They did it in England around 1650 I believe. They did it in France after the revolution, which was a bankers revolution. In fact, he says that according to the archives he was allowed to read, Napolean was a banking agent. The first thing he did after gaining power after the French Revolution was to create a national bank. The people thought it was public, but it was private, controlled by the City of London.
Yes, and it includes DC insiders, numerous pols on both sides of the aisle and many many employees of various FedMob agencies. I know they were involved before but now they are much more open about it and the goal here is to topple Trump’s presidency and that’s just a key to toppling the Republic.
