Diary cows don’t have the meat that beef cattle do...(I raised Hereford Angus crosses for years)
Maybe those two cows are looking for the bull that escaped in Upstate NY a few days ago.
When they mark the head as “Throw Away”, that cracks me up every time.
Cattle on the loose are a weekly event in my area.
I could understand Almonds in a milk gray-market, but cows?? They are so visible.
Hey,Barbacoa
So there are familiar cattle that routinely come up to the doors in this Connecticut town?
But you could still eat them.
So they were pimping?
Why I miss The Far Side so much!!
Time for a STEAKout.
Ping...or not.
Ah...that’s sweet!
A farmer once told me that his very young son got attached to a cow and it prevented him from taking it to slaughter. Some years down the road he knew he had to sell it otherwise he would have to bury it. He got the dog food price for it. His son was still crushed when he found out about it!
Moochelle and Hitlery going door-to-door??
Whores!
varies but dairy cows make up about 20% of the beef market
