SUFFIELD, Conn. (AP) -- Police in a Connecticut town are reminding people to not open their doors to "any unfamiliar cattle" after a pair of cows escaped from their pen and were found near the front door of a home a couple of houses away.
Sgt. Geoffrey Miner tells WGGB/WSHM a driver reported seeing the cows walking on the side of a road and in yards in Suffield on Sunday morning

Steers or bulls - not cows. Apparently the these cops don’t know the difference.
This is the Awol Press writing his with a straight face.
“Police in a Connecticut town are reminding people to not open their doors to any unfamiliar cattle”
Well, the AP seems to be taking break from their Russian hysteria.
If they were dairy cows I’d help them out by milking them. Bet I could still squirt a cat square in the nose with milk.
“Bet I could still squirt a cat square in the nose with milk.”
That’s the BEST part about having a cow! :)
two “suspicious males” were going door-to-door “trying to sell dairy products.”
—Clearly they identify as cows. Be more tolerant.
I’ve always been very insistent that my family only open the door for cows that we know well! Strange cows? Don’t open!
Ever notice the Chic-fila commercials about eat more chicken have diary cows instead of beef???
Yup. Been there, done that.
Personally I would be more alarmed at cattle trying to be familiar.
EAT MOR CHIKEN!
I will release you to distract the AP.
Our town has outlawed door-to-door sales cows.
Hubby and I took a steer to a guy down the road for slaughter and processing. He told us to come back in a couple days and pick up our freezer ready meat.
When we arrived, the guy tried to pass off some old meat he’d had in his own freezer for awhile, and hubby refused it.
The guy asked why we thought he’d cheat us.
It was because as soon as we drove up, our steer ran to our truck and stuck his head in the window. He was glad to see us. Moo!
We took Henry the steer back home. He’s still with us.
They taste about the same.
Not sure, they may report next that the cows are Russian agents...sarc....
