These sorts of articles are stupid. Would Marques or LaSalle recognize Chicago? Would Drake recognize San Fran? Would Cortez or Ponce de Leon recognize Fl? Of course not. Wold they recognize their home countries? Of course not. And if these places were still the tangled messes they were then, no one would know them or make reference to them. The whole things is silly.
Furthermore, London was a socialist. Though he jealously protected all he had, he did not think others should have their own (typical socialist). Also, London built several homes and businesses in the area. To say he would not like what he sees may be true, but he certainly was a participant in it happening.

Research a socialist and you will find a very broken insecure person who usually has deep daddy/mommy issues.

I am with you 100% on your assessment. Typical liberal article.

Note to readers: do not travel on this road unless you are satisfied with 5-10 miles per hour average speed.
I think the settlers of the past would not appreciate this limitation.

Would Drake recognize San Fran?
Sir Frances Drake?
The first man to circumcise the world, using a 40 ft. clipper?

I don’t even recognize my hometown where I was born. It’s gone from looking like Hammond Indiana in “A Christmas Story” to NYC in “Escape from New York”.

In any case The Call of the Wild is one of my favorite books.
