The Weekly Gardening Thread is a weekly gathering of folks that love soil, seeds and plants of all kinds.
From complete newbies that are looking to start that first potted plant, to gardeners with some acreage, to Master Gardener level and beyond, we would love to hear from you.
This thread is non-political, although you will find that most here are conservative folks. No matter what, you won’t be flamed and the only dumb question is the one that isn’t asked.
It is impossible to hijack the Weekly Gardening Thread. Planting, Harvest to Table(recipes)preserving, good living - there is no telling where it will go and... that is part of the fun and interest. Jump in and join us!

Thanks for the bee info guys. Won’t be getting them too soon. Next winter is probably going to be good. I may pick your brains more between now and then.
There’s a great bee bunch in the next county plus a couple of folks in my near area with hives. With the state legislature in session I seem to be making almost weekly trips to Austin so not a good time to take on the bees this season. I am excited tho. Been asking for bees since we bought this place in ‘09 :)
Shall we haze the n00b with gorgeous pics of his/her favorite veggies/fruits and flowers? I suppose we’d have to know those favorites first :)
