Arghh! I have a couple Polk speakers hooked up to two Behringer A500 amps and one of them just bit the dust!
Must be Trump!! (/sillyassshit)
You shouldn’t have turned it up to “11.”
Lol!!!
OK, I’ll keep it at 9.
Behringer is junk ,,, you should know that . . .

The A500 is a pretty good amp. Solid state, the torodial coils in it are very impressive... it’s about 9 years old, so not too bad.
Lucky I had a single backup.
Good one.
I have the SDA-SRS’s.
They have a passive radiator that’s almost that big!
Suggest you replace it with a single dual channel Crown. Be about the same price as the two amps you are replacing and way better. (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AD1R4A4?psc=1_).
As a professional musician, I appreciate that Crown stuff is the royalty of live sound power amps. Bulletproof. I have one hooked up to my home Bose stereo speakers and it’s flawless.
BTW, Behringer is not crap. I have had many pieces of their equipment over the years (headphone distribution amps, line mixers, small mini-mixers, etc.), and they work fine. Are they as good as the more expensive stuff they copy? No, but they are a great value and generally last a long time.
It could my beloved cheeto potus...should have used a crown and cerwin vega...lol..
I have a Polk 12” sub as part of a 5.1 setup and its amp blew too. It still works but now there’s a steady hiss when powered on making quiet scenes difficult to watch.
Bose speakers... You can stop there. Professional Musicians apparently have ruined their hearing. (Bose speakers are terrible.)

May I suggest , I Believe, Man don’t know a thing, and video of acoustic performance of Hear the Sound by John Layne
Since your system has been infected by the cheeto potus..headphones are best...lol..
Fix it, or have someone fix it.
Thanks. The Polks require a common ground amp - are these of this type?
I have a couple of Polk RTIA-9’s and drive then with a Parasound 2250 Amp. IMO, the very best amp for the money on the market today.

I’ve got an old Marantz in the basement if you need it...
I wouldn’t be too surprised if a Behringer amp gave up the ghost. Try almost any other amp.
