Stunned by today’s press conference? So were the broadcast and cable news network anchors who led special coverage. Here’s what they had to say right after Pres. Trump finished his remarks:
ABC: “What a remarkable window into the state of mind of the President of the United States right there.” – George Stephanopoulos, 2:12 p.m. ET.
CBS: “Well, a remarkable news conference…” – Scott Pelley, 2:12 p.m. ET.
NBC: “Pres. Trump concluding an hour and 10 minute long session with reporters in the East Room…” – Lester Holt, 2:12 p.m.
CNN: “Wow, what an amazing an hour and 15 minute briefing by the President of the United States.” – Wolf Blitzer, 2:13 p.m. ET.
Fox News: “Wow. Well, all righty then, that was some press conference.” – Melissa Francis, 2:12 p.m. ET.
MSNBC: “Well, that was a doozy of a press conference.” – Katy Tur, 2:12 p.m. ET.
Did the CLINTONS profit financially from selling the uranium
rights? - Did the CLINTONS sell the uranium rights to the
Russians?
Also regarding Hillary, he called her out for not blowing the whistle on the advance questions she got for the debates. In no uncertain terms he smacked her for her total lack of integrity. She knew it was cheating and she went and did it anyway.
That was an incredible performance!
He went after the propagandists personally, toyed with them like a cat toys with rats and them proceeded to eviscerate them one by one.
What was so much fun is how he tried to educate them, like he was giving a seminar on good reporting. He would critique each question and point out what was good and bad about them.
What a show! And it laid to rest any doubt that I had about him not being able to handle the pressure from the pack of hyenas.

The reporter did not almost cry. The entire room chuckled. Don’t make up stuff.
Before Trump was elected I didn’t have much to live for as I was losing hope we could ever save America.
Today I am glad to be alive to see a great man Trump save America.

He should have been pounding that since BEFORE the election.
Another FReeper appropriately volunteered a Roadrunner versus Coyote (Wile E. Coyote?) analogy with respect to Trump versus politically motivated press.
Gotta say, I do hope he is relishing Laz’s “Winning” thread.

Nope. He’s not tough enough... yet. We want to see the anarchists bleed and the press financially bankrupt.
I want to see about a third of everyone at the press conference out of a job by the end of the year.
He answered so many questions that *I* had, like for example, I didn’t know whether those calls to the foreign leader were supposed to be recorded and transcribed and then got leaked, or if they were supposed to be absolutely private. He answered that.

I don’t think I am making something up, I might have mis-remembered. But, I wasn’t talking what happen in the room, I was talking about the actual CNN Reporter that he said this too. If I remember correctly he took the comment hard, I was watching his expression. He smiled after other reporters started laughing (not with him). But you’re right, they did laugh (fairly quickly). Somehow, his initial reaction stuck in my head. Sorry.
