To Boy Scouts of America.

I am a former scout. Didn’t make Eagle, but was one step below at Life, when I finally dropped out. I was in Order of the Arrow, and was extraordinarily proud to have been a Boy Scout.

For years, and years, and years.

Prouder than I can describe. One of the proudest moments of my entire life. It was ALL good. Every campout, every single thing.

I now, not so much renounce, that is too strong a word, but I now no longer feel the pride I once did.

Some other former Scouts might also know, what I am saying.

I had been extremely proud to have been in an organization, which stood for what it believed in.

I no longer see that, and it greatly saddens me.

Boy Scouts, you made a terrible mistake.

You should have stood your ground.
