Hyundai gave several U.S. soldiers who werent able to be home for the Super Bowl the next best thing: A virtual ticket to the big game with their families. The automaker ran a 90-second commercial following the championship game showing three soldiers from the 4th Infantry Division stationed in Zagan, Poland, walking into video booths designed to mimic the experience of attending the Super Bowl. The best part: Sitting next to the cameras at the Super Bowl were the wives, husbands, daughters and sons of the service members.

They spent a lot of money to go to Poland to make soldiers happy. This soldier will never forget that.
It appears that our own domestic companies with a marketing budget sufficient to buy a Super Bowl ad have practically all succumbed to the hive mind, and all we have left are these two Korean companies, Hyundai and Kia.
I credit having their US manufacturing plants in the south for the lack of indoctrination. They’ve seen the real America and understand what it’s about, apparently better than our own companies.
Not one to follow super bowl commercials.....but you had to love that commercial.

I always knew the place as Sagan. Home of the great Escape and Lody Amerikanski. (Great little Pizza place too.) Where is this base? Near the barracks with the tank and artillery display, on the road into town from the west? We found the people to be very friendly there.
