Complete BS. Nobody can point to X 500 million years ago to Y today.

It is complete BS. I have had this argument who defend the THEORY of evolution as if it is fact, and nobody can ever answer any of my questions. They blow it off.

I have asked every one of them, what species did the horse evolve from. Every time, they will go on to list several species of smaller and smaller horse-like mammals as they trace back in time. I let them blow their wad and then ask, yes, but what species evolved into the very first small horse-like mammal. Trace me a line from amoeba to fish to amphibian to that small horse-like creature.

Nope, no can do. Not a single scientist on the planet has ever published a factual list of species from fish to amphibian to small-horse like creature. The smallest “horse” is just given as a starting point and it is ASSUMED that it evolved from something else.

Fine, PROVE IT. Because absent that proof, you can assume it evolved from some amphibian or you can assume God made a small horse-like creature from whole cloth, and it simply evolved into the modern large horse.

So don’t give me any bull___t that anybody KNOWS what is in the human family tree 500 million years ago. Nobody knows, and for all we know maybe we did start off with Adam and Eve.

FAKE NEWS. Scientists should never treat their theories as if they are fact. They are not.

You’re right. Personally, I just cannot muster the faith necessary to believe the preposterous claims of evolutionists. There is obviously observed evolutionary changes within species, but the idea that random mutations could result in the staggering complexity of the human body and the internal systems that allow us to function is a bridge way too far, regardless of what atheists like Richard Dawkins claim.

The complexity of biologic life points to a designer.

1 in 10 to the 146th power for the simplest protein required for life alone to appear randomly. We are not random.

My problem with evolution is that the most impossible odds had to no only be beaten but be CONTINUALLY beaten every day for millions of years. “billion years”isn’t very long if million to one or better odds have to come in to accomplish any progress.

I have had this argument who defend the THEORY of evolution as if it is fact, and nobody can ever answer any of my questions. They blow it off.

Let me try to help you.

A "theory", in scientific usage, is a framework that best explains the known facts in a way that allows for the prediction of new, testable, facts. This definition has absolutely nothing to do with the popular usage of the word "theory" to mean "unsupported conjecture."

The reason the theory of evolution is a theory and not random speculation is that there is a huge body of evidence derived from several scientific disciplines that shows that there is a constant process of change over time--i.e. evolution. And the solidity of this theory is demonstrated by the fact that from the time of the ancient Greeks, who first postulated some mechanism of evolution, to the present, every major new advance in scientific technique added to and refined the considerable body of knowledge on the subject. For example, when Gregor Mendel did his studies of pea genetics, he knew nothing of DNA. But when DNA sequencing techniques were developed, they added a breadth and complexity of new data which validated Mendel's work to an extent he never even imagined.

Of course, if your main source of "information" about evolution comes from one of the many creation "science" sites, what you know is garbled and barely resembles actual science at all.
