So, I'm on Facebook, and this sweet little old lady Facemails me. She has very few friends, and she looked harmless enough, so I accepted her friend request.
She mails me today.
Much hilarity follows. Best spammer/scammer troll I have done in a while:

If you really get hounded by calls from scammers, you can go to donotcall.gov and register your numbers. Hope this helps.
We rarely (almost never)get cold calls even though our registration has run out. I think it’s for 5 years, but it takes a few months to kick in. Very worth it.
We pretty much don’t exist to them anymore after registering since near inception around the late 1990’s. I wonder if it’s still there.
Actually, my cell phone tells me when not to answer a call, oddly enough. It works like an anti malware database, I guess.

Here’s a story: Around 1990,I got a call from a sexual pervert who said something like: Have you ever had your ***** *****ed?
So I said, Oh, I’m just leaving out the door for work, but it sounds good. Can you call me back tomorrow?
Never called again.

The last scammer that called me was trying to tell me my Microsoft Windows operating system had viruses and they and only they, could fix the problem if I let them remotely control my computer.
I played dumb, concerned and played along. I let him waste all of his time trying to scam me, then I told him nicely I was on a Linux operating system. He then knew I was playing him. He got pissed and hung up, LOL.

I get quite a few emails from ‘Russian young ladys’ with accompanying photos...usually just send to spam but every so often I will ‘toy’ with them.
I try to gauge when they are going to hit me up for money, computer, monitor, or whatever the scam is.
When it gets to that point I tell them I NEED TO BORROW SOME MONEY from them...
This last one was ‘real’ good even got so far she was at the airport, had bought her ticket to come meet me, and she got stopped because of some bill she owed...
SURPRISINGLY, she said “I don’t want to burden you with my problems, so I will just say goodbye”..
Figured a huge sky hook coming next so I responded with.
OK. Bye.
She sent a couple more but I neglected to answer them....would like to have found out where she was ‘going’ though....<: <:
