No doubt this is a good move for Budweiser. They don’t take the steps on a whim.
They have been losing a tremendous amount of market share to craft beers. This will only increase. Bud has to find a viable market and new customers. Sounds like immigrants and poor liberals are the last bastion of beer consumers.

Hispanics drink the beers made in Mexico, poor libs drink Miller, per, schlitz, lone star et al. Bud and bud light have market share because they are omnipresent.

Of course a lot of those craft beers rent brewing space from Bud, owner of the most brewing facilities on the planet, so “losing market” is very relative since they’re still making money.
