He should do the old empty podium routine for 15 minutes first just for old times sake.

I think Ted Nugent will be an exceptional Supreme Court Justice.

Get ready for a Democrat-media hate campaign that is Robert Bork + Clarence Thomas, times 10.

I heard the same about Gorsch. At any rate, he can’t go wrong with any of the three finalists!

Is a “recess appointment” in the cards? Obama tried that for the NLRB, but got smacked down. Now the Republican Senate can coordinate with Trump on “recess”.

Agreed, but he should put up some Gold Star families or legal Mexican immigrants singing his praises during that time.

LOL. By announcing at 8 pm Eastern, the networks will have to delay their normal prime time entertainment schedules if they want to cover this live. Will they do that?

By announcing at 8 pm Eastern, the networks will have to delay their normal prime time entertainment schedules if they want to cover this live. Will they do that?My guess: they will stick with their regular schedule, and when the announcement is made will put a crawler on the screen that will read something like, "TRUMP ANNOUNCED HIS NOMINATION OF XXXXXXXX FOR THE SUPREME COURT SEAT VACATED BY ANTONIN SCALIA. MASSIVE PROTESTS LIKELY AS XXXXXXXX HAS OPPOSED WOMEN'S RIGHTS, HEALTH CARE, LGBT ANTI-DISCRIMINATION RULINGS, AND UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS. NEWS AT 11:00."

Could be.
Will we see some Democrat come out and denounce the nomination right off the bat? Remember the shameless Ted Kennedy who derailed the nomination of Robert Bork with that half assed speech about how “In Robert Bork’s America, women will have back alley abortions, blacks goto the back of the bus, etc.”. Will some Democrat, Schumer perhaps, play the part of Ted Kennedy this time as they attempt to crush this nomination???
To: MeganC
I know your kidding, but I refuse to support anybody over 50 years old for a Supreme Court nominee. And Ted is 68....Yieks. Can you imagine, he might only get 10 years on the court and then the replacement? Who knows. Dems might rule then.

Hardiman is only 51. I went to college with him and he is a solid person of character.
