I stopped watching all TV since 2008.
Quite liberating.
January 17th, 1997.
Clintons second inaugural.
Amazing how much time the TV steals.
2012 here. Best decision I ever made. There is much life outside the idiot box to be had. If I watch TV, it is a DVD from my modest collection.
We cut the cable two years ago and just have antenna delivered channels. Several channels carry oldies and we watch a lot of ION. Quit watching all the local news tonight because it’s just 24/7 Super Bowl hype. SICK OF IT!!!!!
I didn’t have a clue who Supergirl was until now. I thought a younger Wonderwoman perhaps that I happened to watch probably 2x in my earlier years. The poor children of this country. . . . being brainwashed with all of this sleaze. Child abuse at its finest. I think I watched TV a total of seven days last year. . . .every other commercial was pushing some kind of drug.
My entertainment is just dvd’s and computer games. It’s been over ten years since I’ve seen a full half hour episode of anything.
I stopped watching the major networks 20-25 years ago. All I basically watch on TV now are the cable stations, mostly for interesting documentaries. Science, nature, tech, history, etc.
Me too. Bump.
TV-free since 2012. Liberating indeed (not to mention the approximately $4K that Comcrap never got from me)!
TV isn’t all that interesting. I can summarize the DC Comics TV shows like this.
Arrow: killed his girlfriend so now he’s going for the secretary
Flash:Time Travel ex Machina
Legends of Tommorrow: travelling all over time and not sure what to do since we killed Vandal savage
Supergirl : Jimmy Olsen stole James Harper’s identity, Supergirl kills, and Jimmy is an annoying date crasher.
