Will it ever end?
I was off work for awhile last year with a broken neck. Needless to say, I was very very bored and could literally do nothing.
I decided to watch some of these “new” TV shows. I absolutely loved season one of Truce Detective. Season two sucked. Of course they had a policewoman who was a fem-nazi with supperior knife fighting skills. She had daddy issues too. Another detective was a former military man, who was gay. The third detective had all kinds of drug and alcohol problems. Not one normal person on the show.
I moved on to the show Black Sails. I was enjoying it for a couple of seasons until, wham! They made the main character a queer and even showed him having sex and making out with a dude. I have never watched another episode.
I dont watch shows, movies and (especially lately) sports for a lesson in how I MUST accept every PC, LGBQRST-RSVP etc.
WTF is going on in this country.
Thank the Lord for Trump. Aparrently there are a few regular people left in this country, although not enough.
Hubby came into the room when he heard me yelling at the tv. I loved that show and they had to ruin it with a totally unnecessary lesbian kiss. UGH.
They already did in the first episode while trying out for the cheerleading squad.
Supergirl has been a huge disappointment this season. I watch everything off the net and just jump over the BS lezzy scenes. As far as the white and green Martian thing; both of them are black humans in the show so I'm not really seeing a racial aspect to that.
So far Sleepy Hollow, Gotham, and Grimm are doing pretty good at staying away from the forced pervert homo action. Others too but those just came to mind. Lucifer just had to go there an episode or two ago but it was just in passing; no two guys kissing crap.
Lots of ways to watch free tv and movies online if you have high speed Internet; here's one for TV but I've noticed that you have to watch the show fairly soon sometimes or it gets deleted from the servers and using Firefox with the Adblock Plus and the NoScript addons helps cut down on all the ad crap too. What I like best besides the free price is zero commercials. Just the 42 minutes of the one hour with ad's show.

That happened on Downton Abbey too. Began having gay characters and issues. Then spousal abuse, etcetera.
Oh, I’m sure they’re working on it. They’re doing it to a number of old shows. Netflix is busy PC-ing up the new Lost In Space. Judy’s mixed race from Maureen’s first marriage, John and Maureen are divorced, Don West is now Han Solo, Will is a wimp, and Smith is a woman. *gag*

First season was a great show, then they move it to a side venue and change ito a political freak show.
My eight year old this year can’t watch it this year between pushing lesbians and other crap.
So glad I made the switch to KDramas. I just finished one called, “Legend of the Blue Sea”, they are so much better than any of this dreck from Hollywood.
Couldn’t tell you anything about the shows on TV here. Haven’t watched any of them in years, and I don’t miss them.

I was already annoyed by all the lesbian stuff on Black Sails (yes, they were very good looking ladies), but when it was revealed that Capt. Flint was doing everything he was doing because they mistreated his boyfriend, I stopped the episode right then and there. I don’t stick around for that crap. I was watching this show called Halt and Catch Fire. About five minutes to go in an episode, the main guy started making out with another man. Didn’t see the last five minutes or a second more. And, with ten minutes to go in an episode of Sleepy Hollow, the main lady told Ichabod, “If you ever get back to your time, you have to do something about that second amendment!” He said, “I completely agree.” I didn’t see another second of that show, either. They used to know they could get away with the lesbian stuff, but nobody would put up with the gay stuff. Now, they say, “We’re going for it anyway.” Not with me, you aren’t.
They made the Penguin a homo in love with the Riddler in Gotham. That was it for me. Grimm, yes, has been pretty much free of politics or anything else. For a short while, I thought they were going to make Wu gay, but they didn’t.

True Detective’s 2nd season stunk on so many levels. Never a fan of Black Sails. I have a hard enough time understanding English accents, but when they start mumbling I’m done!
TV-free since 2012. Liberating indeed (not to mention the approximately $4K that Comcrap never got from me)!
Much of the ‘comic book genre’ is in the toilet...comics are selling at embarrassingly low levels that would have gotten them canceled back in the 70’s and 80’s. The shows on CW have less than 2 million viewers each, with the exception of ‘The Flash’, and its numbers are heading south, as well. Comic creators think the world outside their window (Hollywood and New York) is the REAL America, and craft their products to reflect that reality. The ‘gay agenda’ and ‘blackwashing’ are turning readers and viewers off, but the creators can’t understand why.
I really like the superhero shows... but I’m down to just the flash/arrow and they are on thin ice.
What they did to penguin ended gotham. They went out of their way to do that.
I got sick of hearing supergirl complain about being a victim/woman... for crying out loud... you are one of the two most powerful people on the planet... give it a rest.
Legends had to repeatedly insult the past as being too white and too conservative... and it quite frankly was my least favorite of the shows... it’s gone too. Axed one of the new time-travel shows for the same reason.
Marvel agents of shield had to start making political jokes and it was on thin ice... dropped that.
No clue what idiot thinks it is good business to alienate half the country... but it is getting the predictable results.
