Thank you. After the losses, the illness, the working from home at sweatshop wages for two years, I feel that my work ethic and perseverance has been vindicated. With not more than a little help from the Almighty, I do acknowledge. You sound like you had a good week?

I agree about replacing the host. Why not put a thoughtful email together.

The week was about par. This week demands an issue be dealt with and fingers crossed it goes well. All in all I’m blessed.

Ok, the leftovers were awesome, better the second day. No butter needed, just time. Oh, that recipe looks excellent! We watched his video, and now I want to make it. :-)

I burned the steaks. I'm sleeping on the sofa tonight.

That gif makes me laugh. How did you burn them? Leave them on too long?

Think so? I may have missed it.
I don't remember a Sherlock Holmes so monster/creature focused.

Aw, it was my fault. Kinda. We still have the same three burner gas grill and Sunjoy grill gazebo we bought before the fire. But, as much maintenance as I've done, they're old, the gazebo is falling apart, it's been held together with JB Weld in same places, and the back of the grill has simply burned through. My smoker disappeared after the fire, so I bought a tailgate charcoal grill at Dollar General until I buy a better gazebo, and get both a barrel smoker with sidecar and a gas grill. Anyway, I fired up the charcoal grill and had the steaks on it. I went out once to flip them, and she started popping her jaws at me like a mama Grizzly bear because she'd just gone out and flipped them herself. I figured she's sitting there and lording over the thing and just flipped the lid sideways to get the coals to fire up a little more. Next thing I know, she's bringing in these two pieces of charred shoe sole, and accusing me of causing it because the wind made the coals flare up. I mean, WTH, over? She ate a chicken salad sammich with extreme prejudice, and I still don't know what I'm gonna have. A banana, I suppose.

Oooooh! I see. You meant it! Well, I would say that SAUCE covers a multitude of cooking transgressions, but then again, I’ll eat lots of things others wouldn’t. :-D

Seltzer's double-smoked Lebanon bologna on potato bread with Dusseldorf mustard. I think I like this more than the steak, actually.
