The last thing the United States needs right now is another celebrity personality sticking a nose into politics, another person who has never lived the struggles of average Americans developing the policies to fix average lives.
So of course right now is when Peyton Manning surfaces on the political scene, set to flank President Donald Trump at a Senate-House GOP retreat in Philadelphia that began Wednesday. Manning will reportedly speak at the event, part of a lineup that includes Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.

A lot of people at one time supported the Bushes. Peyton Manning—as consistent Trump supporter Tom Brady—represents the most cerebrally talented in Professional Football. Frankly, I would applaud Peyton’s waking up in this way. (I suspect his IQ to be at least 20 to 30 points higher than that of some strutting journalist going by the name of Ebanezer Samuel.
Unforgiving Colts fan with a long memory?....
Am laughing thinking of the hoax guy on Tucker Carson last week.
That being said. WHY? Peyton is a good citizen and doing motivational speaking. Let him speak. Someone needs to motivate congress. Kick them in the _______!
Someone tell Ebenezer to shut the hole under his nose. :-)
Brain fart. I was thinking of Bradly Manning. I just saw the name "manning."
I don’t care who Peyton Manning supports, just get him off my TV!
Hey Nationwide jingle people!: GET... HIM... OFF... MY... TV... NOW...
And our current POTUS...
As far as I'm concerned, if Manning wants to put America First and can obviously walk and chew gum at the same time, he'd be a better President than anyone the SOB who wrote this article would ever support.
JMHo
Not a sports fan at all. I was thinking of "Bradly Manning." I think I have heard the name "Peyton Manning", but I didn't really know who he was.
Didn't engage brain before putting my mouth into gear.
Bradly Manning should be executed by firing squad for Treason. I have no opinion on "Peyton Manning" one way or the other. I have no idea who he is.
Yup. I figured that out. Mea Culpa.

This is a hilarious sentence. This coming from the party that worships a couple of bluebloods in FDR and JFK. Neither one of them ever did work to make a living. They inherited their money. Trump has created businesses and employed thousands of people. As for Peyton Manning who cares if he gets involved in politics now that he’s retired from the NFL. If the Oprah, Bill Gates or Mark Cuban decided to throw their hat in the political ring I bet this same writer would be gushing over them. Same old tired Democrat class warfare rhetoric being written here in this piece.
My mistake. Not being familiar with the name "Manning" in any other context than that sicko "he/she" that leaked classified documents, I simply blundered into that comment.
Yes, I gather that "Peyton Manning" is some kind of a sports hero or something.
I'm not a sports fan. I know absolutely nothing on the subject.
I think that his ads are a bit lame but it's honest work and I guess he feels he needs the money. But remember...TV remotes have a "change channel" button.
Well, that explains that.
He can't possibly be this naïve, yet I know he is. He undoubtedly believes Bambi was just another brutha from the projects raised by a single mother on welfare, barely scraping by on SNAP and school lunches, instead of the reality that he was raised by his very well-off (cough-white) grandparents, in a suburban neighborhood, attended exclusive private schools, and had his every need met. Then embarked on an academic and professional career where everything was provided through affirmative action. Not much for "knowing or living the struggles of everyday Americans."
You are forgiven.... understandable mistake. Carry on....
Hey, hey, I realize he went to Tennessee, but no need to be so harsh on the guy.
