Kristina Rodriguez went to the Lake Park Family Practice to get some blood work 

• The 29-year-old was shocked to get her results back and find 'lesbianism' listed 
• 'The word honestly was just comical, who knew that was a diagnosis,' she said 
• The mother-of-two said her long-time doctor listed in on her file to 'protect her' 
• Healthcare company that operates the clinic said it is investigating the incident

 

A North Carolina woman was shocked to find 'lesbianism' listed as a problem on her medical history.

Kristina Rodriguez, 29, went to get some blood work done at the Lake Park Family Practice in Indian Trail - about 15 miles southeast of Charlotte, and found the bizarre listing when she received her results.

On multiple pages in the documents, the mother-of-two found 'lesbianism' listed under the subheading, 'problem list'.

'I was just shocked... It was listed with other previous conditions that have been resolved,' Rodriguez told DailyMail.com.

'I guess my "lesbianism" is not resolved, seeing as though I'm married to a woman.'
