Ive done it.
After every failure by the political establishment, journalists, activists, concerned citizens, and media empires, I am pleased to announce that I have brought an end to the terror of President Trump by utilizing the greatest power of all: Comedy.
It wasnt easy. But heroism rarely is, and destiny never calls at a time of our choosing. So, at 12:34 AM, after reading one of his tweets, I take up the pen of justice. I channel the spirit of Voltaire, Twain, and Swift. I hold the mirror to society.
I Photoshop Trumps face onto Jabba The Hutt.
I tweet my Jabba the Trump meme for the world to see...

“Your comment made me wonder; what if we could time travel and put Twain and Trump in a room together; wonder what would happen? :)”
I could be very mutually benificial. Twain could have used a good financial advisor and he could have paid The Don back as a speach writer.
You are right about Twain’s business failures; wonder which of the two had more?
To hear the sharp tongues would be worth the price a admission. :)
The insult is to Jabba the Hutt.
The other would light up a fat doobie.
I’ll look in the WSJ, but there’s no telling with Twain quotes. He would have had to live to at least 150 to have written everything that’s attributed to him.
The two would be Trump and Twain ... and I truly doubt President 45 would do such a thing.
Somehow, I can't imagine Trump playing snooker, sipping hot Scotch in Twain's billiard room, smoking a cigar
You are right. I was thinking of the Kenyan — my mistake. President Trump (just love typing that) wouldn’t be smoking a cigar, or anything else.
Mea maxima culpa.
Mark Twain's house *Nook Farm* in his beloved Hartford, is a wonderful restoration. It's fascinating to get a view into his life by a tour.
Twain has more than a few things in common with President Trump
That would make an interesting meet-up.
Nook Farm was the *Trump Tower* of its time [1874].
“Ill look in the WSJ, but theres no telling with Twain quotes. He would have had to live to at least 150 to have written everything thats attributed to him.”
An a lot of variants of the same quote. He did so much public speaking that they tended to evolve. I am working on a memorial plack to be hung in new animal shelter and am putting his “If you take in a starving dog.......” statement on it. So far I have found at least four versions.
Well, it’s sure not the first time I was wrong about something on FR, I can tell you.
I’d like to see Nook Farm, but I probably won’t ever get to Connecticut. The years are closing in, and there’s a lot above that on the bucket list.
Yeah, it’s tough sorting out the genuine quotes. Still no verifiable reference, so I’m going to put this one in the Internet BS pile. That’s nice about the animal shelter plaque, though.
