Some pondered whether Time Warner would have to sell off CNN to get the deal approved.
If AT&T had to spin off CNN to get the deal approved, I suspect they would be willing to do so, said analyst Craig Moffett of MoffettNathanson.
As far as BuzzFeed, which is a failing pile of garbage, writing it, I think theyre going to suffer the consequences, Trump said.

Wasn’t McCain a big player in keeping cable bundled?
If it Screws Americans or is just plain evil, you can bet your Last Nickel Juan McLame and Linda Grahamnesty were involved.

This deal needs to be stopped period. One hope I have for Trump is that finally well see Anti-Trust Laws enforced again. Especially against the left wing media monopoly. "Journolist"? Collusion to manipulate the public for the benefit of the Democrat party.

Good. I’d like to see CNN crash, burn, and die in the fire. I say this as an Atlantan.

It is of interest that NCIS always has ZNN on their monitors.
I have long wondered why they did not have CBS

Not sure how this plays out but I suspect Trump will use this proposed merger as an opportunity to gain leverage over CNN.
To: DUMBGRUNT
If Trump stops the deal, the ceo’s and cfo’s will lose hundreds of millions of dollars....how do you like your little leftwing reporters now? Some idiots named Jim Acosta, Wolf Blitzer and Jake Tapper pick a fight with the one man who can step on a multi-billion dollar deal that would make a lot of people incredibly wealthy overnight!
The next 8 years are going to fun!
To: DUMBGRUNT
Even without the latest CNN debacle, it was
VERY unlikely that the Trump Administration would have allowed the AT&T/Time Warner merger. Under Hillary, it would have happened, but some parts of Time Warner would have to be sold off.
Indeed, one now wonders would Trump seriously consider breaking up Comcast and the Walt Disney Company as they are currently constituted? We could see Comcast sell off NBC Universal and Disney split off ABC, ESPN and other broadcast properties into its own company.

That’s a double win. Trump didn’t like the merger in the first place.
