One of the good guys has passed away. I remember his throw down with Al Sharpton on the Morton Downey TV show, and his many appearances with radio legend, Bob Grant.
 RIP.

    This sucks!!!
He deserved more respect and more importance among blacks than he ever got.
He was a Stand Up guy.
Amazing age we live in when one thinks 82 was too young.
Mom’s 84 with nothing wrong. But only God knows when so you cherish each day.

His son, Niger Innis, is a Republican who ran for Congress in 2014 in Nevada.

Roy Innis was pretty conservative himself, and supported Alan Keyes, which got him a lot of grief from Internet leftists.

Not just an NRA member, but Roy was on the Board of Directors. Good man. Sorry to see him go.

Surprisingly, Juan Williams gave a very flattering report on Innis’ life. Politically, Innis was everything Juan is not so I was surprised.

Always liked and respected him, truly a “black leader” worthy of that description. Condolences to this family.

Rest In Peace. Is his son the one that CNN captioned “Nigger Innis” when his name was really “Niger Innis”?

To: johniegrad
Yes, Niger Innis is his son.
