I blame the coaches, specifically Saban, for the Alabama loss.

He knew all year that Jalen Hurts can't pass.

Clemson's game plan to make Alabama pass worked perfectly.

Clemson's offense is awesome.

Watson should have won the Heisman.

The best team won.

Losing the stud RB to injury was tough. Maybe a game changer.

I want to know why the cheerleaders were wearing freezing weather gear during the second half. Wasn’t this game played in Florida?

So, a fitting end to the Obama years. A team with serial sexual molesters, committing the acts during actual games), wins the college football championship. Perfect. (and no, I wasn’t actually rooting for either side. But, for those who watched, were there any intimidating sexual gropings done to any Alabama players in this game? Just curious.)

Clemson beat Alabama at every level. Coaching, and on the field.

OTOH. They had the game won, and their defense couldn’t stop them.

I don’t think you need deep analysis. The defense lost the game.

A link to Ben Boulware’s comments: https://www.landof10.com/ohio-state/ohio-state-clemson-curtis-samuel-ben-boulware-christian-wilkins-respond

And the Clemson players say they have done it all year. Now, I don’t believe that Ohio State would have won without the incidents. They obviously just weren’t up to the task. I just wonder what goes on in the minds of those players that think it’s ok to grope opposing players to intimidate. I don’t remember that EVER being a part of football in the past.

Watson is gone now and so is Clemson. I’ll be 35 years again before they get near a title game. Bama is rated #1 to start the season. Fl State will run away with the ACC.

Clemson was the ONLY "complete" team that had the chance to beat Alabama--mostly because the offense and defense finally "jelled" at the right time. That's why it's not as big an upset as people think.

Great game--but the NCAA really needs to adopt most of the aspects of NFL rules in terms of time management to really shorten the game, notably no timeouts after first downs except the last two minutes, a 30-second play clock, and only up to 45 seconds for a replay review. Just that would have cut the real elapsed time of the game as much as 30 minutes.

I called it yesterday as Clemson and the over, 35-28 and I was off by a field goal but still beat the bookies...Go Tigers, although I prefer the Gamecocks!

A team that was not expected to win turn out to be the best team to close a year full of suprises.

Clearly the game needs a do-over or a recount of the touchdowns.

Yes Bama’s chances were hurt when their running back Scarbrough, who was having a great game, got injured, but on the other hand they caught a big break by not having Tony Brown thrown out of the game for the helmet-to-helmet hit on Clemson receiver Mike Williams.

That hit on Williams hurt Clemson’s offense for the rest of the first half, Williams wasn’t really himself again until the second half.

This was almost a complete inverse of last year’s game.

But bottom line, Clemson overcame 2 turnovers and won the game. Kudos to the Tigers.

I am a Tide Fan, but Bama lost because of all their 3 and outs, the Defense was overwhelmed.

Roll Tide as I expect them to be in the national title hunt next season. And I hope that Clemson is there is meet us.
