Tucker Carlson and Glenn Beck brawled over his inflammatory rhetoric on Trump, his support of Ted Cruz, what hes learned from the election, why Clinton lost and why he thinks Trump should be given a chance. The interview starts off with Beck denying he said Cruz was anointed by God to be president.
Beck said, I never said he was anointed by God to be president of the United States. I do believe that people are called, all of us are, youre called for your job, Im called for my job, all of us are called for a specific time. That doesnt mean that he is the only one who can do it. It doesnt mean any of that. And it certainly doesnt mean that God is going to make that happen. We all have to play our roles.

Beck?... Beck? Didn’t he used to have a.....
Oh, never mind. Can’t place him.
Beck and Carlson both looked good. Beck like a man who’s ‘been there and done that’ and Carlson like a man willing to listen. It worked.
The heavy confrontational stuff had it’s place in this no holds bared election... now it’s time to take a breather... pull back a little. The ‘dirty jobs’ guy was amazing too... Isolation... he gets it...
Glenn Beck climbed up the pole a bit to far. He has revealed himself to be unstable and bizarre. Anyone who pays any prolonged attention to him is the sort of individual that is susceptible to joining a cult
Mister Stabby needs to withdraw from the public sphere, and it would be highly inappropriate for the Secret Service to ever let him out of their surveillance.
I saw the interview, and I thought it was interesting.
Beck was right on a few things, such as he overthinks. He really overthinks. In fact, he thinks himself into a corner and then can’t get out.
I think he also discovered that he thought his voice had more influence than it actually did.
I also think that he gave Tucker good advice on wanting fame for the sake of having fame.
Tucker doesn’t strike me as that type of person, however, whereas Megyn Kelly, for instance, does.
It also struck me that Beck realizes that people think he is a traitor. Perhaps a lot of people.
Good interview, Beck didn’t infuriate me as he normally does, and I was watching just waiting to be furious.
So, Glenn, I hope one day you are able to see where and when you got lost in the woods and then find your way out.
Now Beck is supposed to be a preacher? He’s certainly trying to act like one but he does look like he’s been either eating a lot or drinking a lot or both. Suddenly he’s talking about being “gentle with each other” and we somehow need to be “kinder” to Hillary supporters but they must first be made to howl to paraphrase the words of General William T. Sherman.
Glenn Beck in his loony copy of the Oval Office claiming Ted Cruz was anointed by God.
From the interview, “we should be humble and not try to tear each other apart.”
Yes, he had the nerve to say that after he savaged Trump.
Beck was right on a few things, such as he overthinks. He really overthinks. In fact, he thinks himself into a corner and then cant get out.
You nailed it very well.
Beck said ‘Cruz was annointed for this time’ and ‘no real Christian would vote for Trump’.
Beck lies.
Surprised that Tucker would even entertain the notion of a conversation with Captain Cupcake.
Funny thing is Beck is not Christian.
Glenn, Glenn, Glenn. You are about values and principles, and yet you supported the beast over Trump??
All I can say is that I continue to pray for our nation and our leadership. Beck supported hiLIARy in her quest for leadership of this country. How could I EVER trust Beck again?? I don’t.
I LOVE Carlson!! His facial expressions are fantastic.
This is one of the most refreshing interactions on TV that I’ve seen in ages. Carlson lets Beck talk. Amazing. Great questions.
But then he says, "G-d has not revealed Cruz as the divinely annoited alternative either."To you, Dr. Kidd. To you.
To you, G-d hasn't revealed Cruz as divinely anointed. I understand that, I respect your opinion on it. But here's mine.
I have seen this man's life. I have watched this man. I have prayed about this man. I have prayed about it by myself, out loud, in quiet, with my family, with my staff... and I happen to believe that Ted Cruz actually was anointed for this time.
Would there not be someone that was in the pool, that might have the right qualifications for G-d, is he that disinterested in all of us?
Or is it perhaps possible that - just like in the Bible - people were raised from birth for a specific time. Are we that inconsequential, Dr. Kidd? Are we really not important enough for Him to raise someone up, at this critical juncture?
And now he says he "did not believe Ted Cruz was anointed" ?
How does he get there? Does that mean he bore false witness?
Beck strikes me as manic depressive. Less manic tonight.
BTW, who in their right mind thinks “brawl” is a proper descriptive for this exchange of views?
I saw the itherview.. it was hardly a braw
