His Muslim salute. If he identified as a girl the corrupt media would be calling him a girl.

But when did he convert to Islam? How often did he attend the mosque that was only 1.6 miles from where he lived? When was theh last time he visited it?

I disagree. If somebody voluntarily walks into an FBI office and tells the agents he is being forced to fight for ISIS as this guy did, I think he should immediately be placed on the no fly list.

I did not say anything about the unconstitutional no-fly list. But since you brought it up- tell me again how the state can deprive someone of their freedoms w/o adjudication by court of law? Or are we now living behind some iron curtain?

Watch list? I am fine with that. We need to put 90% of our leftist politicians on that one, and about 30% of all others.... But still, cannot deprive them of rights w/o due process- and that means a judge and jury.

I guess he converted when he started growing his murderer beard; I wouldn’t be surprised if he never set foot in a mosque (too easy to keep under surveillance) and did all his crap online.

and did all his crap online.

Which is even easier to keep under surveillance.

The constitutionality of that list is not my point. I personally think it should be unconstitutional for our gubmint to keep a secret list like this, but apparently I am wrong on this as the secret “no fly” list not only exists but has hundreds of American citizens on it along with thousands of foreigners. My point is that since we have such a list with people that are on it by mistake or for much weaker reasons, this guy should have definitely been on it as soon as he told the FBI that he was being forced to fight for ISIS. I wonder how many other people in the country the FBI knows are probably dangerous and more or less leaves alone?

That’s just it, if the FBI “knows” that someone is dangerous, then they need to investigate, charge or commit as the case may be (lawful adjudication via due process), but no star chamber actions in my country thank you, even if it “works” to prevent a crime.

No compromise on our rights and due process.

Yes, I am a bit stubborn on this topic.

I agree with you on the secret list thing. It is plainly anti liberty, big gubmint BS. My point is that if they have that secret list anyways, they should have used it in this case. It just does not get much more clear cut than a guy walking into the local FBI office and telling them that he has to fight for ISIS. I cannot think of a reason for them failing to put this guy on that list. It is not as if they did not list him because they care about freedom/constitutional rights. The FBI and most other feds simply do not care about any of that as demonstrated by their actions in recent years.

Understand- it’s kind of like, “well, since you stole that item, you may as well use it....”.

Pretty much. I personally would like to see it go away and the gubmint go back to abiding by the rule of law.
