Listen to this twisted thinking by worthless Trent Lott:

“A lot of our allies are very nervous about whether they can count on us,” said Trent Lott, a former Republican senator, now a lobbyist in Washington. “And a lot of our enemies now feel like they have a way in.”

He added: “The tweets unnerve me. I see how you can use that to go around and over the traditional media and how many people get his tweets. But it unnerves me because I’m kind of old school. I don’t put anything in writing that I don’t know who is going to see it.”

Lott said Washington tended to get much more done when people weren’t embarrassed. “I prefer to communicate with a wink and nod,” Lott continued. “I am an advocate of smoke-filled back rooms — I was very much an advocate over the years, the old conference committee meetings. That’s where I used to tell my colleagues, ‘We’ll fix it there.’”

They “fixed it” alright and brought our nation to its knees.

Cancer doesn't like chemotherapy. Bacteria don't like antibiotics. Roaches don't like light. And slimy, old school, lying, back-stabbing politicians don't like direct communication to the people. Got it.

I don’t put anything in writing that I don’t know who is going to see it.

Makes it really easy to say different, and inconsistent, things to different people, doesn't it?

What about leadership and owning up to what you have said?

Guess that's not what lobbyists are interested in.

Trent Lott finds Trump's tweets to be unnerving?

There could be no higher recommendation.

The spineless Lott ...

‘We’ll fix it there.’”

Right after the party with the best wine and cheese, not to mention the most $ to our reelections ...

Evidently M T Lott never had the deer spine I sent him installed after he caved on yet another issue.

I was kind enough to knock most of the dirt off of it before I sent it and he never even bothered to send a thank you letter. Ingrate!

This is why more people trust Trump than you. They perceive that Trump says what he has to say to the whole world, not one message to one smoke-filled room, and another message to another group.

Trump's latest Tweet from a few minutes ago:

"Having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing. Only "stupid" people, or fools, would think that it is bad! We.....

have enough problems around the world without yet another one. When I am President, Russia will respect us far more than they do now and....

both countries will, perhaps, work together to solve some of the many great and pressing problems and issues of the WORLD!

“He (Lott) added: ‘The tweets unnerve me.’”

I hope he’s not such a delicate doily that he isn’t able to clutch his pearls. Poor baby. Who cares what Lott thinks, anyhow?

Sorry, there is nothing untrue about that statement. A lot of countries are now questioning whether now is a good time to be a friend of the United States.

Is this for real or satire? If Lott said this, he really doesn't get why Congress has such a low approval rating. He prefers a "wink and nod" and "back room" deals? Pathetic, but then he is now a lobbyist and that's what they do.

And that is precisely WHY folks were willing to vote for Donald Trump. They're sick and tired of this backroom carp!
