We are on a cruise around the tip of South America. Somehow Facebook is now in a foreign language. How in the h--- did that happen? I use to know how to set it back to Englisg but don't see the option anymore.
And mine flipped to Russian. Good thing I can read it and could change it back
1.Click in the top right and select Settings.
2.Click Language.
3.Select the language you want to see on Facebook and click Save Changes.
ajustes = settings
Wow. Crossing the Drake Passage (Ushuaia to Antarctica) is on my bucket list. Enjoy !

Yes when in foreign countries you have to be specific about the language of the site you are on. If you were in France you would see French language versions of google or facebook. Normally the English version has a \en after the facebook.com.
This happens because the IP address of the Wi-Fi has a different default language. So facebook.com is not going to the same facebook as when you were back home.

I get that a lot. But that’s not my name. My brother’s name is Ben, but not me.
And my last name is NOT Dejo.
You’re on a cruise seeing the tip of South America. That’s my advice.
I appreciate the response and knew about the down arrow. But I tried all the combinations and nothing looked/worked right. :<((
Finally got it right. The languages were spread across the bottom.
I don’t facebook, wife does end of discourse.
Rio was 95 or so with at least 90% humidity. Extremely uncomfortable. Will get better the farther south we go.
“I use to know how to set it back to Englisg but don’t see the option anymore.”
I always set it to Englack.
Is it true that Facebook spins news the other way in the Southern hemisphere?
Are Russians hacking this site?
Must not be a very smart phone...or smart app...you’d think the app would automatically adapt to whatever language the phone was set to, or the phone would automatically dictate and set the language the app loads in.
