John Kerry doesnt come late to the betrayal of friends. He has had considerable practice. In 1971, when he was a young lieutenant just back from Vietnam, where he was a decorated skipper of a Swift Boat patrolling the Mekong River, he appeared before the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee to pay his respects to the American soldiers, sailors and Marines he fought a war with.
Representing all those veterans, he told the senators, he wanted to talk about war crimes he said were committed on a day-to-day basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command. Mr. Kerry proceeded to slander and defame hundreds of thousands of young Americans who were serving at their countrys call in a distant place where none wanted to be, doing their best at achieving the impossible.
Most of us who were there as observers and witnesses I spent the better part of three years in Vietnam and Southeast Asia as a newspaper correspondent saw ugly anger at work, the brutal way of war since Cain picked up a stone to slay his brother Abel. Occasional violence verged on atrocity, but we saw kindness and mercy in the midst of the noisy clangor of killing.
Mr. Kerry testified that he saw his country only at the work of atrocity, young men, many of them highly decorated, merciless in pursuit of barbarism. He told of swapping war stories with men who personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam ....
John Kerry, the weasel of Washington. With apologies to all real weasels.
I would love to see his actual personnel records. I’d bet a paycheck he had a Bad Conduct discharge that was “upgraded” by Carter, probably for meeting with the North Vietnamese in Paris without permission while a reserve officer.
John F’n Kerry.A name he’s earned,a hundred times over.
Is this supposed to be news?
He spent maybe 6 months in Nam and used some obscure rule that 3 purple hearts is the ticket out of there. He made up a few stories of injuries to get those purple hearts.
I never even dreamed of doing that while I was there.
His “Man Servant” should spank this weasel.
American Patriots Against John KerryThe 1970 meeting that John Kerry conducted with North Vietnamese communists violated U.S. law, according to an author and researcher who has studied the issue.
Kerry met with representatives from both delegations of the Vietnamese (North Vietnamese and Viet Cong) in Paris in 1970, according to Kerrys own testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on April 22, 1971. But Kerrys meetings with the Vietnamese delegations were in direct violation of laws forbidding private citizens from negotiating with foreign powers, according to researcher and author Jerry Corsi, who began studying the anti-war movement in the early 1970s.
According to Corsi, Kerry violated U.S. code 18 U.S.C. 953. A U.S. citizen cannot go abroad and negotiate with a foreign power, Corsi told CNSNews.com.
By Kerrys own admission, he met in 1970 with delegations from the North Vietnamese communist government and discussed how the Vietnam Warshould be stopped.
Thanks for posting this.
IT fyi!
Agree. That’s one piece of cloth I had no interest in receiving. He was a conniving POS then and nothing has changed in his lifetime.
Bingo! He’s a traitor.
Ketchup Boy.
Later in the article it goes into the Vietnam testimony similarities with the way he and 0bama stabbed Israel in the back and seem to be favoring the terrorist Palistineans.
You can count on Kerry betraying Obama once he is no longer the SoS. He betrays everyone

Note the following comment from a February, 1970, article in "The Crimson by Samuel Goldhaber, who interviewed Kerry as he was considering his first campaign
"He supports a volunteer Army, 'if and only if we can create the controls for it. You're going to have to prepare for the possibility of a national emergency, however.' Kerry said that the United Nations should have control over most of our foreign military operations. 'I'm an internationalist. I'd like to see our troops dispersed through the world only at the directive of the United Nations.'"On other issues, Kerry wants 'to almost eliminate CIA activity. The CIA is fighting its own war in Laos and nobody seems to care.'"
Nice article by Wesley Pruden, one of the few “mainstream” journalists I respect.
Broke my heart when the “band aide” hero got swift boated!!!/s/
