On Tuesday night’s broadcast, the show included an entire category in the Double Jeopardy round devoted to Congress.
The $2,000 clue featured a smiling photo of Debbie Wasserman Schultz, with the text referencing her role as a Florida congresswoman and recent head of the Democratic National Committee who resigned in 2016.
The three contestants were speechless, all uncertain of whom they were looking at, prompting host Alex Trebek to disclose the proper response of Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

That’s right. Being a Southerner, I blurted out “Hunley,” but the contestants were stumped. Must be Yankees.
I bet if their political careers were counting on winning 6 consecutive coin tosses they would know who she is.
I had it on DVR and went back to check on it. One contestant claimed he knew it but didn’t ring in.

Everyone thinks the head of the DNC was Hillary or Barack, when it really was their better-looking sister, Debbie Water-Spaniel.
I am visiting my wonderful & liberal family for Christmas. We were watching last night & when her picture came on I said, “wash your hair!” My mom sort of laughed & sort of shushed me ; )

We saw it too, wife and I laughed. And Dems have her on list of possible presidential candidates in 20 - ha ha ha ha.

Many of the players have weaknesses when it comes to politics. I was unsurprised that no one recognized this popular FL icon.
Too busy watching sitcoms, which is why so many people are liberal.
In a sense, it’s a good thing these young people are unaware of DWS. As she is history. Past her sell-by date. A has been.
But only just recently. And this is not to say that these youngster shouldn’t learn and understand who she was.
She and democrats like her are evil, corrupt, dishonest and a threat to American decency. Young people should learn from her and avoid making mistakes like her in the future.
Can’t stand women with two last names. They usually enjoy making things more difficult than necessary.

I also cannot stand people with two last names. Way I see it we are entitled to one last name. Make your mind up, pick one. The sports world is really a mess with this, what with designation such as Senior and Junior, so and so the third, and so on. Get over it, one person, one name. giving yourself two names makes you no better than the rest of us.
