If you can remember, please let me know if it's worth picking up - I haven't read a review on it, but seemed pretty interesting.
Books from both the David Weber “Harrington” and “Safeholder” series.

Sci-fi, and highly entertaining. He has a knack for describing political intrigue, implications, and fallout from decisions made. Action and battles are well described and exciting. It is hard for me to ever put down one of his books! I especially love the philosophical and religious discussions found especially in the “Safeholder” series. His character development is excellent, and there are several times I’ve been moved by the some of the different characters’ plights and courageous reactions to those plights. He gives much food for thought.
If you like sci-fi and have not read any of his books, you might wish to explore them! The man knows how to tell a story!
LOL! Well, actually the case can be made that she lost THREE times! :-D
1. Election Day
2. Recount
3. Electoral College (In fact she lost more faithless electors than Trump did!)
I LOVE WINNING!! NOT TIRED YET!!!
What a very dear story!
The True stories are the best stories. :-)
The Complete Far Side - Gary Larson.
Well, interestingly (or not) I actually bought myself a book. A very meaningful children’s book that unknowingly would especially resonate this holiday season (as I expect for all time) as I ponder life. It is by Fox News Channel, Ainsley Earhart’s, Take Heart My Child.
Having just been left by my husband of many decades just a week ago it is especially meaningful to me. I can hear my own mother’s words speaking these things to me, words of wisdom, as an adult even now. I love it.
I highly recommend this beautifully illustrated heartfelt book and, bonus, a portion of the proceeds goes to Folds of Honor, an organization that provides scholarships and assistance to spouses and children of fallen soldiers.
