Stop turning kids into UNICEF fund-raisers

When the Elsas and Supermen trick-or-treat their way to our doorsteps next week, some will be toting an orange box with the word UNICEF on it. Since 1950, four years after the organization was founded, children have been collecting these donations for the United Nations Children’s Fund in a box given to them by their local public school.

This latest disgrace from the U.N. and from Odungo reminded me of how Reform & Conservative Jewish kids are given UNICEF (United Nations Childrens Fund) boxes and sent out to solicit donations for UNICEF. How very ironic that they are collecting money for an organization which hates them and takes every opportunity to oppress Israel. So although this article is from October, it is very timely right now to demonstrate how thoroughly the libtards have infiltrated public schools and Jewish Sunday schools to "institutionalize" collecting money for the U.N., to be used for heaven-knows-what corrupt purpose--even to oppress Israel.

My Elementary school in Southfield, Michigan was named after the then recently departed (1965) US Ambassador to the UN, Adlai E. Stevenson. Our (then very optimistic)school crest was the symbol of the UN, (barf!).

On Halloween, we went from door to door collecting pennies for UNICEF...why? We were brainwashed little kids, what did we know?

So, now, in 2016 they're doing this outrageous act??? This should have been halted DECADES ago!

My mom made us do the UNICEF thing one year. She was apolitical. I thought, “What a terrible thing to take Halloween candy from a kid.” Now I know it was terrible for another reason. Now I don’t give any charitable contributions to any organization that doesn’t faithfully represent the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Kids funding the negligent mass murderers of UNICEF. Who poisoned millions of Bangladeshis with arsenic by digging them wells and never bothering to test the resulting water. The largest mass poisoning in human history. At a time when arsenic poisoning from well water was a well known problem. As far as I know they’ve never apologized, they’ve never accepted any responsibility and they’ve never been held responsible for their actions.

I’ve still got my UNICEF certificate from 1956 when collecting for that organization meant something.

Today the UN has become one big anti-Semitic and anti-American cesspool because of the communists and the moslems.

There are better charities to donate to if you want to help children overseas. CARE, the International Red Cross, World Vision (if they are still conservative) but NOT OXFAM.

I got yelled at for altering the UNICEF crap they handed us in school from saying “I’m raising money for UNICEF” to say UniSelf instead.

UNICEF has one of the worst admin overheads of all the charities on the planet. The key letters in its name, "UN", says it all.

If you want to really help children, I recommend donating to your local children's hospital....at least then you KNOW they're actually getting the dollars.

I vaguely remember being "volun-told" to collect for UNICEF while trick-or-treating one Halloween - 1962, IIRC - in a little bitty town in far NW Iowa. Indoctrinate us while we are young, I guess… though in my case, it didn't take, as I was belligerently anti-UN by my middle school years.

Since the wicked never really go away, I shouldn't be surprised about such crap continuing to this very day.

I did the UNICEF once, but I didn’t know about the UN when I was 9. I bet 99.999% didn’t go to kids, but to the UN bigwigs...
