JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel will re-assess its ties with the United Nations following the adoption by the Security Council of a resolution demanding an end to Israeli settlement building, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Saturday.
The vote was able to pass the 15-member council on Friday because the United States broke with a long-standing approach of diplomatically shielding Israel and did not wield its veto power as it had on many times before - a decision that Netanyahu called "shameful".

yea problem is that the colleges keep turning out dumb a#### who then vote every 4 years. Maybe CA can leave us San Diego, Camp Pendleton, and other parts of the southern state, and then the rest form their own country, but so long as they build a wall along their border from us.

There is no reason for us to be in or hosting the UN. The UN building could be used for something worthwhile - an abandoned UN building would be more of value than it is doing now.

In the U.N.’s many peace keeping missions into Africa there is nothing more than a long sordid history of their troops raping women in the countries they are stationed in. When bullets fly they beat a hasty retreat. We have no reason to remain in and fund them.
Move it to Venezuela or some other dirt poor crime infested location where the crooks who run the UN will feel at home.

My memory is a bit foggy, but as I recall, the organization wasn’t particularly helpful in Iraq
