Hey everyone. In what has become a Christmas Eve tradition, of sorts, I would like to wish all of those Freepers who, like myself, have for whatever reason found themselves alone this Christmas Eve.
I hope this thread can, as in previous years, serve as a gathering place for the solo folks who may otherwise have little or no contact with others on this celebrated evening.
You are not alone, really.

I’m alone but used to it. In fact I like it except when I feel like crap. When I feel like crap I’m ornery and just generally unpleasant.
At this point in my life I’m probably where I need to be. That’s okay.

Will throw some burgers on the grill and watch a great Christmas movie -— Die Hard.
if you are anywhere near a church, go to the Christmas Eve candlelight service/mass, whatever the nearby denomination calls it. It will be joyous, the people will be convivial, the message is the best you’ll ever hear, and the warmth and music will be wonderful.
Not this year, but I have spent many alone. They are tough sometimes. I like good movies to fill the time.

Merry Christmas to you... I had to work today and will be at work tomorrow... BUT, I am blessed to have my two young adult children with me...
I plan to watch a Christmas Carol in about one hour’s time with a glass of Chardonnay.
