Erath County Sheriff Tommy Bryant was reportedly found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound inside his home overnight, according to local officials.
The death occurred about 12:05 a.m. Tuesday at Bryant's house in Stephenville, according to a Texas Rangers statement sent by Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman Lonny Haschel.
The Texas Rangers are investigating his death at the request of the Stephenville Police Department. Haschel said the statement did not include Bryant's cause of death.

As Oblama's term nears its end, I find the timing of this Sheriff's death equally suspicious.
Suicide is pretty common among cops. In fact in the profession its often referred to as “policeman’s disease”.
He killed himself over training violations?

But it’s very uncommon for individual cops who aren’t at risk for it.
Some say Kyle’s assassin was an islamist. Not hard to find articles from non-mainstream sources with photos of the guy sporting the islamic style beard and documented history of his conversion. This is highly suspicious.

I spent 23 years in a south Florida police department,and lost 6 good friends,none by suicide. They have precautions to prevent this sad thing from happening,generalizing does not answer the question about this tragedy.
You mean the place where the lead sheriff in Chris Kyle murder investigation found dead under suspicious circumstances?

In the movie, Chris Kyle tells Taya that a woman approached him in the parking lot asking him if he could help her grandson who has PTSD.
I have a friend that thinks Kyle was, as he puts it, “John Connored” Killed because he would have been a very dynamic leader in a revolution. Interesting theory.
Kyle's willingness to help those in need was used to place an adversary near him.
That adversary used some social engineering to get to a good place for the work and accomplished his mission.
Not brain surgery.
I hope he gets full knowledge of his actions and must feel in full measure the emotions associated with the destruction of this fine human being.
His training “violation” appeared to be cheating on exams. In fact according to one story it appears others or at least one other took a course for him. I don’t know how that would work, but that is the allegation.
If you think people cannot be programmed or brainwashed to act out heinous plots including murder, I've got news for you. WHAT DO YOU THINK THE QURAN DOES TO PEOPLE? It CONDITIONS THEM TO MURDER INNOCENT PEOPLE, INCLUDING SENDING THEIR OWN YOUNG CHILDREN OFF AS SUICIDE BOMBERS.
