If it’s a golf themed bar with all aspects of golf being displayed, including Caddyshack, I can see it being a success.
But if it’s just a Caddyshack bar, not many people can relate to a movie that is almost 40 years old.

The movie does enjoy cult-like status among its fans. However, I doubt that many young people have seen it. I saw it once when it came out. I thought it was "just OK", and have pretty much forgotten it. Its fans still refer to it and quote from it like it was released yesterday.

I don’t know about that. A couple of years ago I kept seeing a decal on the back window of cars of some old grey haired bearded man. I didn’t know who the heck it was. I’m 52, so fairly up to date on topics, but could not figure that one out.
So down the hall to the millennial kids office asking who the heck is the old guy sticker I see around town?
It’s Bill F’n Murray he says. Bill Murray, caddy shack? Why the heck would anyone put a decal of that old fart on their car?
Oh well, he has a big following for Chivas Regal, and who knows what else.
Was just thinking....what took him so long??
Wish him/them the best. I’ll stop by, if I’m in town.
