A NATIVITY play was turned into chaos after an asylum seeker stormed the stage and started preaching from the Koran.
The Somali asylum seeker suddenly leapt on stage during the traditional depiction of the Christian story in the Austrian town of Oberndorf near Schwanenstadt in the state of Upper Austria, causing horror and upset amongst the children and parents.
At first, no one had reacted when the asylum seeker came to the venue and stood next to the stage where children of nursery school age were performing.

The asylum seeker suddenly leapt on stage, took out a copy of the Koran from his rucksack and started preaching.
The 24-year-old, who was wearing a white robe, was eventually overpowered by a number of men, including two brothers, while he was shouting “Allahu Akbar”.

It’s gotten so that I am always aware some nut could just walk into our church (or any church) on any given day and just murder all or most of the congregants. I don’t know if anyone in our church is armed (it’s in DC, after all).
Yes, we have the hateful example of Mr. Root in SC killing members of the black church in SC, but I think these Muslim attacks have become more common now, worldwide.

Agreed. If that crazy POS had shown up at my church he’d have been shot from so many different directions it’d be silly.

Anyone who tries to read it - and believe it - will surely go mad.
Either they will try to somehow internally bargain away the evil exhortations included in the Koran passages - and break their brains; or they will decide to fall completely into the 'dark side' and 'gladly' follow the decrees to kill non-believers. I say 'gladly' - but it is eternally damaging to their souls and just drives them mad.
The only way to follow it and maintain sanity, is to decide that the book is a complete allegory and not to be followed. One would think this would lead one to leave Islam, but supposedly a few minor sects go this route (and become hunted targets from the rest of the mainstream muslims), but I suppose it is a way to maintain sanity - if not life - while remaining a 'muslim'.

There are at least 4 people at the Mass we usually go to who carry in spite of the stupid sign on the door.
One thing I was taught in the CC class was that if you are not carrying, look around you at all times, be aware of the people in that space and identify a potential self defense weapon. The first time I did that I id-ed the cane of the little old lady sitting in front of me. LOL
