The electoral college makes it official! I'm feeling almost as chipper as I was on the morning of November 9th. I can't believe I spent the better part of a year worrying when most of FR was having fun.

Learn your lesson? Lol. While most of us were fairly confident, we all held some amount of uncertainty. While we knew that Trump could win, we were concerned about the Establishment and its ability to make or break people. In this case, however, Trump was adept at avoiding being labeled by them. He is most certainly the man for the job.
Democratic losses since Obama took office:
60 Congressional seats
More than a dozen Senators
A dozen governors
1,000 Legislative seats.
Of 700 counties that voted for Obama, a third went for Trump.
They are now seething and are not about to sit back, resigned to their defeat. Behind the scenes, they are plotting. From Bill Moyers:

Second this, most of us had at least a little fear the Rats would try to pull something and they did. First the recounts in 3 states then the ongoing pressure on the Electors coupled with the Russia BS. The GOP Establisment was/is untrustworthy.All this created an atmosphere of uncertainty fueled the Dem hacks in MMM. They better nail down the Faithless Elector thing. There should not been have ANY on either side.
We were helped by having the spotlight on it. Next time the effort will be
much more stealth.

It was oaky to be worried. There's nothing wrong with keeping your guard up. As we've seen, the left is capable of anything.
I’d rather suffer 4 more years of hearing damn Obama on TV everyday than 1 year of her.
I went to bed election night at 8 PM. CBS was already calling Trump voters white trash, high school dropouts, and they were also trashing their own hired polling expert....lol
My personal feeling is that (and maybe I’m guilty of overprojecting here) people who voted for hilary neither loved nor respected her. I think they found her useful, in the moment, provided she was able to hold onto their power/gravy train for them.
I feel that now, however, her erstwhile supporters must find her quite repulsive. Ditto for brocko.
If I’m right, they might have 4 or 5, maybe 6 or 7, shadow governments, i.e., they won’t have one at all. Their coalition is temporarily busted, and there is some infighting in their very near future.
Some elements: 1) Soros The Invisible, 2) Pocahontas The Pathetic, 3) Bernie The Loser, 4) Keith The Koranator, 5) Schumer The Schmuck, 6) Pelosi The Pigheaded, and 7) Villaraigosa The Venal. Sounds a little like the 7 Dwarves.
They have no leader; no real direction. White men need not apply. Trouble ahead, trouble behind, and I know that notion just crossed their mind. They are very frazzled, and I could not be happier.
Her basket of deplorables speech was very grating on the nerves too, and very telling, as to how liberals view the world.
Not to mention their new DNC chair I don’t believe gets selected until March, which gives the incoming Trump administration nearly 3 months to steamroll them before they can develop a unified message.
My gut feeling is that Trump is ready to roll right out of the gate. They will celebrate the inauguration, enjoy the weekend, and be ready to get down to business that following Monday.
I, too, spent from August 1, which was the first Monday after the Democratic convention when Hillary’s polling shot up, to election night with knots in my stomach. I even had a dramatic weight loss of 35 lbs. from worrying so much. It consumed my thinking. Halloween was ruined for me. Then when the shenanigans began with the recounts and the harassment of the electoral college voters, I thought, “Here we go again.” I never want to go thru this again.
I too worried about her winning as well. especially from the Democrat convention on because she maintained a sizable lead in all the polls. In my entrie lifetime (born in 1971) I think 1980 was the only year the polls got it wrong (most had Reagan with small lead, but he won BIG).
For the most part, the polls we accurate. She did win win more than 2 million popular vote victory, but only because my stupid state (California) gave her a nearly 5 million vote margin here.
30 states still chose to take the right path, but Trump did not win those states by the margins Hillary won CA, NY and IL with. Get rid of those three states Trump wins the popular vote by over 5 million!
