Orlando, Florida (CNN)President-elect Donald Trump said Friday his supporters were "violent" during the 2016 campaign.
Trump made the admission Friday night during a rally here on the Florida leg of his "Thank You" tour. During the campaign, he repeatedly downplayed violent outbursts his supporters displayed at times toward protesters and insisted that paid activists were instead responsible for inciting violence at his rallies. "You people were vicious, violent, screaming, 'Where's the wall? We want the wall!' Screaming, 'Prison! Prison! Lock her up!' I mean you are going crazy. I mean, you were nasty and mean and vicious and you wanted to win, right?" Trump said Friday. "But now, you're mellow and you're cool and you're not nearly as vicious or violent, right? Because we won, right?"

I heard/watched the rally also and it was clear President Trump was being sarcastic and tongue - in - cheek. He was making fun of how the LSM has characterized his supporters....but I KNEW the very same LSM would go after him on this statement.....and, sure enough, they have.
Dem’s/Hillary’s campaign paid for violence at Trump events. Trump supporters defended themselves. End of story.

Do you really have to quote CNN? Most of us here know they will take the smallest item and twist it to their liking.
Trump, in my opinion, thinks his supporters are the greatest.

CNN KNOWS.... they no longer control the narrative and they cannot stand it. The Internet does.

Our folks have been patient beyond all endurance with the left, for what seems like a lifetime. Even now, with them doing and saying everything they can to subvert the will of the people and overturn the election, we're all still playing by the rules, and hoping that they do too.
Like a lot of folks, I sometimes wonder just how far the left can push the good people of this country before they snap. I don't know where that point is, but I do know they don't want to find out. It will not be pretty.
