I grew up with dogs. I hated cats. Now, I’ve both... Actually, the cats outnumber the cats.
But, no one would ever accuse of being a pansy like some of those guys pictured in the article.
I’ve always liked dogs, but I like cats more. I never questioned my masculinity and never understood the correlation between gender and pet choice. Dogs are high-maintenance and noisy. Cats are quieter and great for calming the beast within me after a day of dealing with nitwits I was employed with.
The only reason I keep a domesticated cat is because I have no room for a full-sized lion. If I had the choice, I’d have a lion patrolling the grounds because you can hear a dog coming. If it were a big cat, the last thing a menacing trespasser would hear is the two paw plants it takes prior to clenching his head in its jaw.
Grow a pair you pussies.
This cat owner had to say goodbye to his most loyal friend on Monday. Woe to the pulpy mess who calls me less of a man.
Masculinity is not toxic, they must be thinking of liberalism.
Is your real name Schrödinger by any chance?
;-)
LOL! Agreed. Same for screechy birds that perch on shoulders.
If I prefer cat-women, what does that make me?

LOL. Dern cats have me hypnotized. Good catch.
I think the perfect size would be a bobcat, although a nice black panther would be cute, too. :-)
Then he can grab Pussy in the White House on tv, just to stick another thumb in the eye to all the folks who thought that one comment was gonna bring him down.
On my back patio right now this second is a dead mouse with his neck ripped open.
The cat obviously did it, but the dogs like to opt-in sometimes too.
when I fling dead rodents in my back yard, my little black dog goes nuts!
I am very sorry for your loss.
Wow... Donald Pleasence... As Ernst Stavro Blofeld yet!!!!!
But he was also a war hero, from WWII...
“He served as aircraft wireless-operator with No.166 Squadron in Bomber Command, with which he flew almost sixty raids against the Axis over occupied Europe. On 31 August 1944 Lancaster NE112, in which he was a crew member, was shot down during an attack upon Agenville,[8][9] and he was captured and imprisoned in the German prisoner-of-war camp Stalag Luft I, where he produced and acted in plays. At the war’s end in 1945 he was liberated from captivity and returned to England, being discharged from the R.A.F. in 1946.”
He was in “The Great Escape” from 1963 too... as a POW.
We’ve seen him, and many others from his generation, in movies over the years... but how many know what he went through...
Hemingway had a polydactyl cat. Now his house/museum has dozens of its descendants.

Wonderful pictures!
God Bless both our armed forces and the cats/kittens they care for. =^..^=:)
