I was doing a search on a user I had not seen in a while. Even thouse I chose users in the menu, all it would bring up was titles. That’s wierd I thought so I did a search on another user, it came up with no problem. So, what happened to BlackFemaleArmyCaptain,
I was searching for a thread I started about two years ago using the archive search on title. I could not find it. I tried all sorts of different ways of searching with no luck.
I finally found it by using google search.

As I understand when you try to open Outlook you receive a blue window which states “Microsoft Word 15”.
Follow the steps mentioned and check:
Step 1: Run Outlook as administrator:
· Close Outlook.
· Right click on Outlook icon and click on Run as Administrator and check.
If Outlook works fine then right click on Outlook icon, click on Properties< Compatibility tab, under Privilege group check the option Run this program as an administrator. Click Apply and Ok.
Step 2: Check if Outlook is running in compatibility mode:
· Browse to the location mentioned below:
For Win7 32 bit:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\ClentX86 \Root\Office15
For Win7 64 bit:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\ClientX64\Root\Office15
· Right click on OUTLOOK.EXE< Properties< Compatibility
· Uncheck the box Run this Program in Compatibility Mode, ensure you also click on the option change settings for all users tab at the bottom of the same screen
· Click on Apply and Ok.
· Open Outlook and check if it works.
Step 3: Open Outlook in safe mode:
Open Outlook in safe mode to check if the issue is caused due to add-ins:
· Close Outlook.
· Press the windows key+R on the keyboard to open the Run window.
· In Run window and type outlook /safe
Note: There is a space between ‘outlook’ and ‘/’.
If you are able to work with Outlook without any problem then the issue might be due to add-ins. In order to disable the add-ins follow the steps given below:
· In Outlook, click on File< Options< Add-ins.
· Under Manage select COM Add-ins.
· Click on GO options beside Manage, uncheck all the add-ins and click Ok.
· Try to open Outlook and check if it works fine.
Step 4: Create new profile:
Create new profile, configure the email account in new profile and check. Refer to the link mentioned to create new profile:
