Bundy brothers refuse to enter federal courtroom for hearing (RYAN,AMMON PUNISHED AT JAIL)
Las Vegas Reivew Journal ^ | 12/9/2016 | Ben Botkin

Posted on 12/10/2016 4:24:29 AM PST by Nextrush

Ryan and Ammon Bundy refused to enter a federal courtroom Friday for a hearing in the armed standoff case...

....among 17 defendants in the case, are the sons of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, the central figure in the standoff that unfolded in April 2014 between Bundy's supporters and federal agents who had rounded up his cows....

....in orange jumpsuits, several defendants in the federal courtroom yelled out as the three-hour hearing ended: "Resistance to tyranny is obedience to God."

U.S. Magistrate Judge Peggy Leen told federal marshals she didn't want the Bundy brothers put in the courtroom by force and ordered them to be kept in an area with access to audio of the proceedings....

The judge didn't issue a decision at the hearing but said it would be "logistically impossible" to have one trial for all the defendants.

Proscutors are pushing for a tiered system of three trials.....That means trials would start in February, May and August.

Defendants have a variety of alternatives.....

Cliven Bundy, for example, has pushed for one trial for all 17 defendants or the alternative of a separate trial for himself after all the others are tired first.

Bundy attorney Bret Whipple said in court that his client wants defendants to be able to return to their families quickly.

The defendants, who are in federal custody, face federal charges that include conspiracy to assault federal agents and stem from the events of April 12, 2014, several miles from the Bundy Ranch near Bunkerville....

Dozens of family members and friend crowded into the courtroom to observe the proccedings.

"My dad is an all-American cowboy who loves his country and loves God," said St. George, Utah resident Molly Stuart, 34, one of Cliven Bundy's 14 children......

It is TIME to DownSize DC!

Close entire Rogue/Un-Constitutional departments including their SWAT Teams.

Clearly 1/2 of what is done in DC would never be missed by anyone outside DC if it vanished tomorrow.

> They didn’t have to shoot him but their attitude is that if they feel threatened, shoot to kill.

There are some officers / agents just looking for an opportunity to try out their new shiny toys. A little too willingly and some of them have personality traits that aren't too much different than the criminals they pursue.

How and WHY should lands be “returned” to the states that they NEVER had in the first place?

You may have a little half right with that statement but there is a lot of history behind the “why”.

Article 1 section 8 of the Constitution tells us what the Government can have, and it isn’t fifty percent or more of the twelve Western States that did NOT receive their public lands at Statehood as did every state east of the Rockies. You need to pay attention to history and do a little more in depth search for why thinks are today in contrast to what they should be if Washington Dee Cee was on board with the Founders.

I would suggest doing some reading here: http://www.americanlandscouncil.org/

One of the defendants, Pete Santilli, expressed his belief that once Donald Trump is president, the defendants will be free.

The correct response would be to pardon them, not to merely drop the charges. Even if BLM agents were way out of line (and they were!), those charged at best skirted the law in response. An executive pardon removes the legal threat without undermining the rule of law.

Well, I think it’s in Trumps often demostrated character to help individuals who need help. Here we have an old man in his seventies that the Feds have thrown in jail along with his two sons for extremely dubious reasons.

So, yes, I think he might.

Don't forget that what was the base of the Bundy story was that Harry Reid who works for the Las Vegas Mob was working with China to get the ‘mineral rights’ in the Bundy Ranch area...

It has always been that the cattle are allowed to graze on Federal Lands next to private lands...Reid and the mob and China knew they couldn't get the ‘mineral rights’ to the Fed lands so the next best thing was the Bundy Ranch...so the Government henchmen were set out to harass them, and the people who are ranchers in Utah and Nevada decided differently...

Then the Hammond family in Oregon had the same situation...except Hillary Clinton knew there was ‘minerals’ on the Hammond Ranch and wanted the rights for Russia, as her and her husband with a guy from Canada gave Russia uranium rights...so out came the FBI and others and the Bundys knowing what was up, went up to help the Hammonds...and the day that a supposed FBI agent shot the guy, he was on his way to court...his wife and friend were in the truck and witnessed it...

This is our government folks, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, UN Agent 21...all of it...the mob, Dirty Harry Reid, China and Russia...and people think that Russia threw the election for Trump...how stupid do you have to be to believe the Globalist and New World Order communistic media???

The lands should be returned to the state along with all government lands in all states.

The land can be sold back to the states with a simple majority vote in Congress.

History of the Bundy Ranch:

Back in 2012, the New American reported that Harry Reid’s son, Rory Reid, was the chief representative for a Chinese energy firm planning to build a $5-billion solar plant on public land in Laughlin, Nevada.

And journalist Marcus Stern with Reuters also reported that Sen. Reid was heavily involved in the deal as well.

“[Reid] and his oldest son, Rory, are both involved in an effort by a Chinese energy giant, ENN Energy Group, to build a $5 billion solar farm and panel manufacturing plant in the southern Nevada desert,” he wrote. “Reid has been one of the project’s most prominent advocates, helping recruit the company during a 2011 trip to China and applying his political muscle on behalf of the project in Nevada.”

“His son, a lawyer with a prominent Las Vegas firm that is representing ENN, helped it locate a 9,000-acre (3,600-hectare) desert site that it is buying well below appraised value from Clark County, where Rory Reid formerly chaired the county commission.”

Although these reports are in plain view, the mainstream media has so far ignored this link.

The BLM’s official reason for encircling the Bundy family with sniper teams and helicopters was to protect the endangered desert tortoise, which the agency has previously been killing in mass due to “budget constraints.”

“A tortoise isn’t the reason why BLM is harassing a 67 year-old rancher; they want his land,” journalist Dana Loesch wrote. “The tortoise wasn’t of concern when [U.S. Senator] Harry Reid worked with BLM to literally change the boundaries of the tortoise’s habitat to accommodate the development of his top donor, Harvey Whittemore.”

accommodate the development of his top donor, Harvey Whittemore.”

“Reid is accused of using the new BLM chief as a puppet to control Nevada land (already over 84% of which is owned by the federal government) and pay back special interests,” she added. “BLM has proven that they’ve a situational concern for the desert tortoise as they’ve had no problem waiving their rules concerning wind or solar power development. Clearly these developments have vastly affected a tortoise habitat more than a century-old, quasi-homesteading grazing area.”

“If only Cliven Bundy were a big Reid donor.”

Update: The Drudge Report, the #1 news aggregate site in the world, has now picked up this story. Unfortunately for the BLM, the documents they wanted to delete are now exposed for the world to see.

We always have to have a jackboot licker and while you are not the best, you will have to do until a better one gets here. As far as respect for U.S. Courts goes, with the special treatment being given to Hillary Clinton and her cohorts by the FBI and Department of "Justice", what Patriot could have any respect for the U.S. Courts today? We are no longer a Nation of Laws Instead of men/women. We are no longer a Nation of Justice. The laws have been used to control and punish the serfs and peasants. A majority of those who voted demanded that happen on November 4, 2008, when they demanded, via their votes, a muslim have the rule over them. And once he assumed power, he honored their demand.

If we were still a Nation of Laws and and not men [I believe that was a Hillary Roddam quote from the days of Watergate/Nixon] Hillary Clinton would be on trial or in prison having already been tried and convicted. If we were a Nation of Justice, Hillary Clinton would be hanged for the traitor that she is.

But if that had happened, we would still be a Nation of Laws and not men and the mighty and not so mighty received the Justice due them, jackboot lickers such as yourself who worship those in positions of power and authority would not have any jackboots to lick,. would you?

“They didn’t have to shoot him...”

If a known armed suspect tries to flee arrest, then exits their vehicle and keeps moving towards officers while disobeying orders, they are going to be shot. Everyone in the country who is not mentally disabled knows that is what will happen.

So unless you can tell me Mr. Finicum was mentally disabled, he committed suicide by cop.

Don't forget the so called Bundy Ranch is in effect 160 acres of fee land which isn't much when raising hundreds of head of cattle. Also don't forget that Cliven paid the grazing fees for some years prior before deciding to cease.

President Reagan's EO regarding Grazing Fees Feb. 14, 1986

Executive Order 12548 -- Grazing Fees
February 14, 1986

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and laws of the United States of America, and in order to provide for establishment of appropriate fees for the grazing of domestic livestock on public rangelands, it is ordered as follows:

Section 1. Determination of Fees. The Secretaries of Agriculture and the Interior are directed to exercise their authority, to the extent permitted by law under the various statutes they administer, to establish fees for domestic livestock grazing on the public rangelands which annually equals the $1.23 base established by the 1966 Western Livestock Grazing Survey multiplied by the result of the Forage Value Index (computed annually from data supplied by the Statistical Reporting Service) added to the Combined Index (Beef Cattle Price Index minus the Prices Paid Index) and divided by 100; provided, that the annual increase or decrease in such fee for any given year shall be limited to not more than plus or minus 25 percent of the previous year's fee, and provided further, that the fee shall not be less than $1.35 per animal unit month.

end snip

Then the UN needs to be kicked out of this country or put under heel. This is sovereign soil. The UN has no sovereignty over US citizens whether they are suspected of breaking the law or not.

Really?

The Feds stole the land of 50 ranchers to give to China.
The Bundys were the last brave souls standing.

The Bundys are heros and dissidents.

On his Facebook page, Seim calls himself a ‘Gospel preacher’. I don’t know what ‘gospel’ it is that he preaches but his comments on the video where he calls the prison, certainly don’t reflect the Gospel of Jesus!

You are correct, legally and morally.

This is getting much like the actions of Sovereign Citizens who claim the power to decide which laws to obey and which to ignore.

My expectation is that a President Trump would treat armed invaders of federal lands or federal buildings the same way President Reagan dealt the Air Traffic Controllers, and the same way Citizen Trump would treat any armed occupiers of one of his buildings.

I would expect him to say they have 24 hours to leave, or the marshals go in. He would say that the occupiers are the ones who “picked up the gun” and if violence occurs, it’s on their heads.

We are a nation of laws, and the minute we succumb to violence or threat of violence, from either the Left or the Right, we have all made ourselves subject to armed insurrection.

Washington was right to put down the Whiskey Rebellion, and the courts are right to deal with the Bundys are they are.

We may not like the intrusion of the Federal government onto land, but the answer is electing a new government, not threatening to shoot people.
