I didn’t lie to my child. I told her about the real St. Nicholas
Santa IS NOT A LIE. He is in every department store in the country.
Don’t worry. I’ve got your back.
Not necessarily. Many children feel that devastation finding out their parents lied to them about things they held dear - Santa, the Easter Bunny, tooth fairy.
Adults underestimate the amount of blind trust our children put in us.
I read that as "immigration" and thought "Yes!...wait, how does that fit...ooohhhh.
//Kids who dont get to believe in Santa Claus and his generous, giving qualities will grow up to be SPOILED SNOWFLAKES!//
Wrong. See my post #39. And Santa as portrayed now is not generous at all, but a man who has to be bribed to get material goods.
When I told my children, I simply told them that I was their Santa and it’s an important lesson for grown-ups: that giving without any expectation of receiving anything in return (including credit) is a beautiful thing. I thanked my children for allowing me to learn this through them. They completely understood. They were not the least bit upset.
“”You better watch out. You better not lie.” Wait. What?!”
I don’t remember any words like that in the song ...
“You better watch out. You better not cry.
You better not pout, I’m telling you why ...”
It was a deliberate trap to unmask Heathen. If you’d spent time wearing a hair shirt and flagellating yourself for Jesus instead of making joyous merriment you’d never know the words were wrong. This is exactly the kind of knowledge that serpent in the garden promised you.
Consider yourself ensnared.
But we'll get the truth out of that creepy bastard yet.
Man, I’d like to see this article rewritten along the lines of “ do we, as Christians lie when we tell our wives that the jeans they are wearing do not make there butts look big “.
Please excuse spelling mistakes...darn auto correct on phone.
>>hen we tell our wives that the jeans they are wearing do not make there butts look big .

Don’t lie to your wife. Simply tell her the cut/style doesn’t do her “justice”, and other pants flatter her more.
Well, my response to that question was: "It isn't the jeans that do that ..."
And that's when the fight started.
That reaction is still absurd for anyone over the age of 8.
He's more powerful than that...
Why do people think they need to include Santa Claus at all??? Is Jesus Christ not enough???
Thanks you.
.
LOL!
