An airstrike on Thursday has ended the life of the 24-year-old Anas al-Basha, who was known as Aleppo’s clown.
Basha, who was also a civil rights activist, chose to remain in the divided Aleppo to work with children and mitigate their traumas in the conflict-torn, northwestern Syrian city.
The activist’s corpse was found buried under the rubble with the hat and makeup he wore in his role as a clown, in the eastern part of the city, which was held by the rebels.
After heavy airstrikes, the Syrian regime has regained on Sunday more than half of Aleppo.
His death is all the more tragic as he tied the knot only two months ago, and assumed the directorship of the ‘Fada Al-Amal’ center, part of a civil organization.
Created by eastern Aleppo’s residents, the center supports 12 schools and four psychosocial rehabilitation care centers. The center provides moral and financial support for 365 children who has lost their parents and families.
The organization suspended its activities in eastern Aleppo following the intensified air raids and attacks in the city

Why exactly should I be happy this guy was killed??? Probably was a Christian helping kids.
How many more people have died, than would have if the enemy were eliminated? How many times has the US pulled back and allowed “refugees” to escape, only to find that the enemy has flown leaving only civilians behind? The news report told of the carnage of innocent civilians as Russian refused a “cease fire” as the civilians get time to escape. When at war with a Mooslum on YEE HAWD, there are no civilians. There are only soldier breeders and soldiers in training. We either MUST decouple from this area, or fight a war of mass destruction instead of attrition. They win if we spend $1,000,000 to kill one terrorist, and they spend $.25.
The Battle for Allepo is the Shia versus the Sunnis. A pox on both their houses.

We never should have our brave soldiers play policeman or engage in a "nation building" fantasy again. The brave will just end up getting picked off by IEDs, homicide bombers etc.
We must get in, pull a General Sherman or Indian war type of operation, and get out, or fight them by proxies when possible.
The enemy of civilization must be defeated.
No more nation building. The only good Moslem is a dead Moslem. Maybe Putin can finish the job on our behalf.
Why would he do that when Iran and Assad are his allies. He only care about ISIS to the extent it effects Assad. He could care less how many Christians they kill.

RIP sir. It sounds like you tried to make the world around you a better place for children.
I don’t get the tinge of animosity by some here for this man. I may not have agreed with him on religious grounds, but I applaud his efforts to help children.
