The article is interesting -- they complain that Trump may roll back the power of the FCC, and then complain that the FCC may abuse it's power to penalize Trump's critics.

I'm guessing the author doesn't recognize the irony.

Hypothetical news day! My entry: “Trump could exile AP writer Tali Arbel for being an insufferable ass”

IS IT TOO LATE TO STOP HANDING CONTROL OF THE INTERNET OVER TO SOMEONE ELSE?

(I mean who in the right mind thinks THAT was a good idea??? Has the USA done a bad job or something? Private growth of the Internet is a supreme example of the success of NOT having government control)

FYI, if you are worried about privacy on the 'Net, use a VPN. They are widely available now, and can be used on your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop.

You can even choose a VPN endpoint (where your traffic enters and exits the public Internet) in another country, putting it out of the reach of anyone in the US.

I use one when I'm traveling internationally to make it appear I'm in the US. It avoids problems with Internet banking, who may lock your account if you access it from outside the US. And no, telling them you are traveling doesn't help -- it happened to me despite notice. The notice only applies to financial transactions.

I've also set one up into my house, so it makes it appear I'm at home. That gives me full access to everything available on my DVR.

Ap still swinging for the left..I am honestly curious if the media in general will ever get back to honest(as much as is humanly possible) investigative reporting?

So now the Asspress asswipes care about privacy? They didn’t care about any of it including IRS abuses up until now.

Somehow they manage to argue that Trump would do the opposite. Stop would stop the Democrats at the FCC from turning it into a utility so they can regulate our freedom of speech.
