The Army National Guard consists of 28 fully capable brigade combat teams with combat support and combat service support components. (An infantry brigade is around 4400 personnel.) The Army Reserve is mostly Combat Service Support and Combat Support with only one infantry unit (the 100th Infantry Battalion)

The Army, Navy, Marine, Coast Guard, and Air Force Reserve components are not under state control and are solely funded by the federal government.

The projected active duty end strength in the armed forces for FY 2017 was 1,281,900 people,[4] with an additional 801,200 people in the seven reserve components.

In 2008, federal police employed approx. 120,000 full-time law enforcement officers, authorized to make arrests and carry firearms in the United States.[38] The 2012 Bureau of Justice Statistics' Census of State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies (CSLLEA), found there were 17,985 state and local law enforcement agencies employing at least one full-time officer or the equivalent in part-time officers.[39] In 2008, state and local law enforcement agencies employed more than 1.1 million people on a full-time basis, including about 765,000 sworn personnel (defined as those with general arrest powers). Agencies also employed approximately 100,000 part-time employees, including 44,000 sworn officers. That's about 3,5 million armed federal, state, and local personnel.

That presume that ALL of them will readily follow illegal orders.

And the majority of them voted Trump...interesting dilemma. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.

here's a few numbers of what patriots would be up against if things got nasty.

You make the assumption that the National Guard and police forces are:

1.) Not composed of Patriots

2.) Going to answer to Hillary.

I would suggest that neither are correct assumptions.

Of course we would have no chance fighting against our own military and not much chance they would kill their own people either.

Not sure what you point is but we won. Disaster has been averted unless the leftist insist on starting it.

The thing is no Americans lost when Trump won. Yes, those here illegally and those who have literally been getting away with murder will soon have to leave or be deported or tried and jailed or killed during apprehension.

If the ugly one would have won everyone would have lost because she would have let the swarms in to destroy America for good. At that point we would have no choice but to fight; literally die fighting if need be because we would have lost everything. A well armed people with nothing left to lose can be a formidable opponent.

Let me ask you who do you think our targets would be? Remember we would be fighting a guerilla war.

Well, without picking at any of the numbers and what they actually represent, the real key here is awareness that when crap comes down, all bets and predictions go away very quickly.

There is just no way of knowing how a lot of people would react and then act on either side until it actually happens.

How much of the US military strength is currently occupied outside the US? How much of that could be brought home on short notice? And without igniting a huge mess in multiple parts of the globe with the power vacuum created by withdrawing?

The US military has never had to deal with guerilla warfare of the potential scale here. No one really has. Uncharted territory. The sheer magnitude of the geography of this country is very daunting when you start talking about subduing a rebellious population.

How much of a military force was required to control the few large urban areas of Iraq? Something like 1/2 million? Nowhere near the scale of the US and its major urban areas.

Spain’s civil war dragged on for nearly three years because people quickly figured out they had to prevent the military & police from gathering/arming at their barracks. The red mob lasted nearly three years...

Let’s see to enforce martial law on 320 million people it would take about 3000 fully manned infantry divisions. Oh about 30-40 million troops. Give or take.

Well OK then...let’s talk numbers...300,000,000 weapons with more than 12,000,000,000,000 rounds of ammunition in civilian hands. A preponderance of those folks are on the right side of the political spectrum. Some 4 or 5 million combat vet, 25 million hunters and some 70 million households have a gun. Now there is a ton of those potential government backed folks counted in those numbers and some duplication. But it doesn’t really matter. This war would not be fought by convention means. Civilians would not confront a standing army. Every hunter would choose a snipers perch...every soft target of the soldier or other side would be at risk. Every supplier, every supporter, every pain point. Every neighborhood. Every family and every member.

How many of those 3,5 million would follow orders to murder their friends and relatives at the behest of Hillary? Zero?

The only statistics that matter are:

1. There are over 300 million private arms in the US

2. 85% of those arms are owned by white men, 1/3 of those with past military service

What on earth would the army do if those private arms were turned toward THEIR families and assets?

You are not thinking things thru here. The Red states are going to go ape if Shitlery steals the election. The Blue states would be happy. Why would a red state go into chaotic unrest if the Governor and legislature would be willing to secede? Why would there be war?

Let us not forget that if this was even possible, the fraud POTUS Hillary would have to deal with a Republican House and Senate. That’s if she survived the Inauguration.

The rest of us would just ignore her pronouncements.

We wouldn't have another Bull Run or Antietam.

It would be more a campaign of targeted assassination and death squads with some heavy civil unrest in the cities.

A much bigger version of El Salvador in the '80's.

That’s about 3,5 million armed federal, state, and local personnel.

Yes. And during a Trump Presidency, virtually all of them will be on our side, with Trump, and most of the Federal government during the Revolution.

We mostly won the revolution with the November 8th Vote in 2016.

It is far better to be on the government side during the revolution, and that is where the election puts us, with the government on our side.

Some few here have made the wise comment not to fully trust the MIL or LEOs. Don’t just assume they are pro-Constitution gung-ho country-above-authority.

The other big underestimation too many make is weaponry. Guess who has all the biggest and best? Yup, and “common sense” says no regular civilian should be allowed to have them. How’s that working out?
