So you say you want a revolution?

There's a lot of talk about the consequences of massive election fraud putting Hillary in office and what to do about it if it comes to pass; here's a few numbers of what patriots would be up against if things got nasty. The Rats don't fear CWII because they have a large group of people who would be their proxies in any civil unrest that might arise. Here's a few statistics to mull over:

I think I’m trying to suggest that this nation had better exhaust every possible peaceful means to ensure that the RAts do not steal this election. I don’t think it is in their best interest to do so.

all traitors better decide how much they love their families before the first shots are fired, cause when it's game on, all bets are off and no quarter will be ask nor given

Spain’s civil war dragged on for nearly three years because people quickly figured out they had to prevent the military & police from gathering/arming at their barracks. The red mob lasted nearly three years...

Against a citizen army of 10,000,000

There are over 10 million deer hunters in the US. Take into account these are people that hide in the woods, cover their scent, wear camo and sit for hours in freezing cold and hike for miles through the woods in darkness, shoot long range through a scope, then take a knife and rip the guts out of the large mammal they just killed. Then they cook it and eat it.

I know a lot of local police departments with some pretty sophisticated hardware; they look a lot like a military unit.

True that.

But where local LE differ from military is that the citizenry is a lot more likely to be close to and know where the families of the LE are. That's a lot different than an anonymous soldier brought in from somewhere else.

Also, I wonder what the resupply capabilities of a town's police would be if chaos erupted on a large scale. They might find themselves running low on consumables fairly quickly. They don't have the supply lines the military has.

Agreed. Stop the steal. Prevention is a lot better.

Let’s see to enforce martial law on 320 million people it would take about 3000 fully manned infantry divisions. Oh about 30-40 million troops. Give or take.

You are skipping over the secession part.

Well OK then...let’s talk numbers...300,000,000 weapons with more than 12,000,000,000,000 rounds of ammunition in civilian hands. A preponderance of those folks are on the right side of the political spectrum. Some 4 or 5 million combat vet, 25 million hunters and some 70 million households have a gun. Now there is a ton of those potential government backed folks counted in those numbers and some duplication. But it doesn’t really matter. This war would not be fought by convention means. Civilians would not confront a standing army. Every hunter would choose a snipers perch...every soft target of the soldier or other side would be at risk. Every supplier, every supporter, every pain point. Every neighborhood. Every family and every member.

This is so true. There is so much power in the masses, if they ever get it together.

I am old enough to remember the Detroit riots of the late 60’s; I was in Michigan at the time. That was a type of geurilla action, but it was eventually put down by a combination of National Guard and LE efforts. Detroit was small potatoes as warfare goes, but it was really messy.

Secession is an almost entirely different matter. How well did that go over in 1860?

“Of course we would have no chance fighting against our own military and not much chance they would kill their own people either.”

It would be them with no chance. The US military hasn’t been able to nail down Iraq and Afghanistan with 15 years to do it. Texas alone would soak up the entire US military.
Our military is tailored for fighting elsewhere and would be abysmal here. On their own logistical tail, it would be their nightmare. Every fuel and supply truck would be a target.
The enemy would look like the people. Our bases are not secure perimeters.
The world is full of examples of how it would look. Look in South America, look in Mexico. Look right here in our own hemisphere. A drone operator in Nellis likes to go into Vegas and drink. He is lured in by a woman and found dead. He never knew what hit him, or that the woman who killed him buried her brother, husband and father 3 months ago. They were killed in a drone strike. Soldiers families would need protection and bases would need massive actual protection, not just gate guards. An air base commander opens a letter and sees photos of his little kids walking into school, with crosshairs on them....
Everything our military uses is made in unsecure factories. Their MRE food is contaminated...at the factory.
A car bomb blows up at the drone production corporation which is based at an airport.
The raytheon plant where hellfire missiles are made is horrified one morning to see 6 engineers abducted and handing from an overpass. Nobody goes to work and they demand protection. The 10 million+ Remington 700s out there suddenly seem to be everywhere.
Nobody working for the government is immune and is left in terror. This is from the postman on up.
The internet and communications are heavily impeded. The economy begins tanking. The only way to even try to get enough soldiers to fight is to strip bases around the world. National interests everywhere start to suffer badly.

Remember the scene in Red Dawn, a bomb went off in a Cuban army recreation center. A tank rumbles down the street and stops at the scene... swinging its turret impotently.

Yes, we would have a chance. And they would not. The civil war people dream of would be more murderous and vicious than anyone dares imagine. No sane person would call for it. And no, the US military is woefully unable to crush down on the American people if they were to rise up. It would make the Balkans look like childsplay.

How many of those 3,5 million would follow orders to murder their friends and relatives at the behest of Hillary? Zero?

I figure if it ever came down to it, we would not only be up against a very well armed and organized state/federal force, but also in the mix would be a heck of a lot of armed Rats/commies, especially in urban areas. In a way, I envision something like present day Syria or Lebanon in the 80’s. So it would be a combination of revolution/CWII rolled into one big mess. I pray to God this never happens.

Could conceivably require none. Could be diffuse warfare without any defined front or geographic objectives. Just extermination through attrition. Simply individuals or small bands seeking to take targets of opportunity unaware. Look at the difficulty we have had in fighting insurgencies in the past, and with a degree of firepower that could not be brought to bear within the US without effectively destroying the country around the force employing it. Tokyo Rose style propaganda, seeking to sow doubt, would be the regime’s best weapon against the populace. I have a suspicion that once a rebellion against a clear tyranny began it would go viral, and God help anyone identifiably associated with the regime at that point.

The only dreams I have of CWII are nightmares. I would add that every sane person should be working to ensure that it NEVER happens.

“What kind of organization and logistics would a 10 million man militia require?”

None. There wouldn’t be a 35th Indiana volunteers marching out to the field waiting resupply and orders.
It would be leaderless resistance, and self sustenance. The very concept was designed by US as a method to resist after a successful foreign invasion. But it isn’t needed here, and won’t happen.
Our government will continue to need consent in the big picture. They cannot rule by force on a large scale. They could kill Lavoy Finicum, they could not crush an entire region.

For extra fun, the huge majority of combat types come from red states. Blue is horribly under represented. So the military would need to magically turn on its soldiers homes. Get real.

“The easier safer thing to do is just shut the country down. Don’t go to work in what ever job you do.”

THIS is what they truly fear. And every successful revolt in the last 30 years has been a people power color-revolution. That is also what we should fear... Hillary launching a “purple” revolution.
